Trust issues
We certainly understand your hesitance to trust. Sounds like things are going well. Hope Marie's stomach is ok for the remainder of the trip.

High in China
Glad you have another boarder crossing under your belt.

Crossing the border
Definitely one of the most arduous border crossings I have read. This pic sums it up nicely! Luckily I was not with you, as you probably would have been arrested.

Sost
Fabulous pics of gaudy trucks lined up at the Pakistan/China border. Must have made your sojourn in Sost quite surreal. I've posted some of your pics in TB's "Follow that Road" thread in the Photography Forum. Check 'em out.

View from a window seat
Love following along on this amazing trip! One shop and one hotel can be enough at times. Amazing mountains.

Sunrise over the Mountains
It is a good life isn't it? So many amazing places around the world. So many wonderful people. I glad you found a clean and quiet place to stay... it was bound to happen. The bridge looked a bit less than desired.

Pakistan
You really are seeing all the nooks and crannies that Pakistan has to offer. You've really made me question the fact that we didn't think we would go there. Thank you for making us thing about it. You are the great world adventurers. Keep the blogs coming.

Hooray- a Pakistan blog
Hi Fraggles I am delighted to see you have a Pakistan trip! I followed your Tajikistan blog (as well as Dancing Dave's and the Binkleys) when I went last year and this year I am off to Pakistan. I have just read your first Lahore entry and wonder which hotel that you used? I'm a 54 yr old Australian woman and have managed to entic my friend, Mary, along this time. Looking forward to the next episodes. Gill

Hi Gill, thanks for dropping us a note. In Lahore we stayed at the Rose Palace Hotel. It is a stunning part of the world and Pakistan is an amazing place, I'd love to go back and spend longer there, particularly in the northern areas there is just so much incredible scenery to explore. Have a fantastic time

Pakistan
Pakistan has never been on our travel list and we may have to reconsider that. Love this photo :) Cheers, Ren

Pakistan
I have never considered traveling to Pakistan. I felt uncomfortable reading about the heat.... and I live in Florida and like hot. Loved traveling along with you in the taxi. Sounds like a bit of gurgling was going on. Hope everyone is holding up.
