The main purpose of our class trip is to evaluate and understand the challenges that companies in Cape Towm may face when conducting business internationally. Each group has been given the task of coordinating a visit with company and I think I have found the perfect organization. A college at work recommended that we visit a company named Grotto. Since his visit in November of 2013, the company merged with an italian company Velo and is now known as Grotto Velo Tank & Equipment Co. (GVTEC). This organization manufactures industrial customized stainless steel tanks. As described on theor website, "Equipment is supplied to producer and processing companies in the wine, olive , brewery, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, and petrochemical industries, throughout Africa and across the world."
