I'm glad Coco can't read this blog ;) I never had an interest in visiting the Maldives until the government lifted the ban on tourists staying outside the resorts... I'm now fascinated by the culture and wish we'd made time to hop over when we were in Sri Lanka last year. Thank you for the insight into the everyday lives of the locals! :)

I Just read a story abt. the air quality in India...think the air on the islands must be better...Love your story abt your guide...the photos ( as always) were super...thanks for bringing us along.
