Wow! Well, this was rather a exciting day! Glad you all got back in one piece - I think I would certainly have been panicking big time. Hope you are not getting lost any more. Take care!! Mum XX
Sickness & scooters Sounds like this was an interesting time! Glad to hear that everyone is ok now but you could probably have all done with a rest anyway.
Betty Hi Tom and Rach,
Great blog - loving all the detail and the photos - I see you enjoyed the camper? Could let you borrow our VW if you want to re-live the experience in the UK! Hope you're having a great trip!
Phil
Mina Glad to read the final part of this saga- this sounds such a fanastic place, there was a documentary on TV about the orangutans recently, very sad that they are losing their home. Looking forward to the next instalment- think you will have to publish this blog when you get home, makes great reading!
Orangutans What an adventure. Definately one to tell the grandchildren in the future. Rachel-the blog was not at all boring, keep it up!. Much love. Keep safe. Lots of love from Hastings
Cliffhanger!!!! Ooo what a cliffhanger Rachel- what did Jackie do when she jumped down? Hope you're not going to drag this out like who killed Archie Mitchell on Eastenders - it was Stacy by the way and Bradley is now dead having fallen off the roof of the Queen Vic whilst being pursued by Police! The Photo's are superb - what a fantastic experience! Love to you both xx
hello hi to both as usual this blog as brought a titter from me best i can do as you know good laugh from granda tho, can only imagine that bus ride , it certainly is a young persons adventure . you will be able to bind all of these blogs together for a good adventure story keep it up .
love granda @ grandma xxxx
carry on blogging! We've really enjoyed reading your blogs - they never fail to put a smile on our faces and I feel like I'm having an adventure vicariously through you! Anyway your blog fame is growing, a few people at work are now reading them and Maria Dietz (who you may remember) rang me from Germany last night to say how much she's enjoying reading them.
Indonesia sounds and looks like a real ADVENTURE! The bridge looks a bit Heath Robinson and there seems to be an awful lot of blue tarpaulins - are you sure you're Dad's not been out there? Anyway he'd get on well with the locals wouldn't he - both sharing a common interest in the value of old blue tarps - I won't ask if they collect batteries!
Stay safe both + Ash. love Mumxxx
Indonesia Hi Tom and Rachel. Indonesia sounds a real riot so far and we look forward to the next installment with hopefully no spitting! Loving the Blog so far. Keep up the good work. Love from the Hastings gang.
xxxxxxxx
Australia Sounds like Aussieland was very enjoyable - very glad that you're getting up to date with your blogs, its very exciting to read the next instalment - we are all very envious!! Lots of love Mum x
hello i to both of you christmas day did seem a bit unusual , we checked your visit to flores on the web and watched a vidio someone had put on it looked beautiful di d you go on the hiking trail at ruteng ? look forward to recieving your blogs
love grandma @ granda xxx
The Bats! Fraser Island looks fabulous - this adventure is just getting better and better! Quick question about the bats - are the creepy glowing lights their eyes shining in the blackness? If not I don't think we can see them - I'm assuming the yellow rectangle is a car number plate and not some sort of giant tag as that would suggest that they're huge and that would be really scary!
What are you cooking Spag Bol or Chilli? I bet it tasted good eating it in the wilds of Oz.
Stay safe, Love Mumxxx
Murray Enjoyed the blog Tom and Rachel - sounds like a great trip so far.
You seem to be having a more successful time than Andy Murray who I hear just failed to make the big time in Oz
SYDNEY Glad that you are back 'blogging ' again. we have missed you updates. Looking forward to the next installment. Lots of love Auntie Sue and Co. XXXXXXXXXX
Sydney Tom, Sydney didn't float your boat by the sound of things! Still you couldn't go all the way to Australia without visiting their iconic city could you! Good to see you're having some editorial input to the Blog. Can't wait to see the Sumatra photos. Love to you bothxx
PS I think Tracy C's implying that I'm some sort of Bridget Jones role model for Rachel - can't think where she gets that idea from!
Sydney Well done Tom photo,s look good Sydney looks cooler or is that an illusion of the photo,s.
Nice to hear from the other half of the duo, and Gram and I are pleased to see that everything is going to plan
Love to both Grandaxxxxxxx
Oz Hi Both, it's been great speaking to you on Skype, so we're pretty much up to date with the tales of daring do and near misses with the venomous creatures that you're teasing us with in the Melbourne blog, so we're now looking forward to seeing the rest of the Oz photo's. Tom's family have been incredibly kind hosts by the sound of it. Keep on enjoying the adventure and stay safe. Mumxx
oh rachel !! you make me laugh! i can just imagine you at the airport - please keep quiet if you go to bangkok or we'll never see you agin, ha, ha. Funnily enough i couldn't help but think of your mum as i was reading!. So Happy New Year to yuo and Tom and keep safe. Lots of love. xx
Customs people and dogs Hi guys, Isn't it strange how customs people all over the world are po faced when confronted by a sense of humour?
