Great Stuff! Just read through your all your adventures. Sounds like the adventure of a life time. I gotta hand it to you guys, you've redefined a cool family for me.
Cathy, very entertaining writing!
Adam, how about you writing something too?
How strange. I once had a danish girlfriend but she never told me that Denmark looked that good. You sure learn something every time you read the korny 5 blog.
Hi Kornies5,
I've finally had the time to catch up on your last few blogs. It's pouring with very welcome rain here and Joshua's tennis comp. was washed out so got home early. Extra time!
I can't believe how good you are at keeping your blog! You must be doing your travelling the right way: not rushing, allowing enough time to have a good look around, doing all those things that keep kids happy (trains, trams, climbs, slides, fishing, marshmallows and water, lots of it) but adults too! You are a great writer Cathy (you too adam if you're doing any of it?)! I enjoy the stories, descriptions and your easy wit. What a great travel diary for later. The photography is stunning too. I'm very jealous! So far I've been able to picture everything clearly, not only because of the photography but also because of past experience.
Did you know that the first place I lived after arriving in Australia in 1982 was Port Lincoln? That's where my then boyfriend came from. I played my first ever Australian tennis tournament at Coffin Bay (an Easter tradition). I studied in Adelaide and my first school camp as a student teacher was at Victor Harbor. My teaching career started in Streaky Bay where I taught at the Area School for 2 terms. Then it was on to Cowell for 1 term and Port Augusta for 4 years. After my 1 year off from teaching (which is when I met Ian) I taught in Robe for 1 term before moving to Melbourne. Needless to say that SA has been well explored by me, that I have many fond memories and can picture you there easily. How about that for a little 'getting to know me'? I've never crossed the Nullabor by car but have spend a summer holiday exploring Perth and the area south of there. From now on, however, your travels will be new territory for me and I'm looking forward to reading all about it.
I think what you are doing is just THE best. It'll be something you'll never forget and it is sure to shape you and the boys' future. Keep enjoying immensely beautiful Australia, your freedom and life in the 'slow lane'. It must be soooooooooooooo much better than the 'fast lane'.
Take care and until next time,
Annemiek
Fun fun fun Hi Kornies 5,
Looks like your adventures continue with gusto. We love WA and my husband Daniel's family is from Perth so we visit and enjoy the pristine outdoors too!! Keep the photos and stories coming, they are a joy to read. My guess is 8 biscuite in an hour.
Ahoy there! Onya Kornies - have a great time up the WA coast - Onslow boasts one of the wackiest caravan park we've ever seen!
Cheers

wow again Once again, it sounds amazing - the photos look amazing and what a wonderful experience. Not sure I have the patience for fishing though (nor would Jules or Ari - who would definately need a lot of bikkies)
Squidly ! Hi, so nice to catchup on the kornie5! I am loving the blog and photos. As for the photographer well I am sure you are enjoying the new toy too. Jeremy was pleased that he was in your thoughts. Nothing like a good squid to make you smile! Look forward to the next instalment. Happy trails. Love The Blechers xxxx
feeling sick you guys may be a bit sea sick from that boat ride but I am getting a bit sick from reading about all these amazing adventures in paradise. Not to mention the photos. Lucky YOU! (and you won the premiership last year too).
Fishing Hearing about all the fish you caught makes my mouth water. Which reminds me-I had a couple of crowns at the dentist and now I realize where all the missing trillions of dollars that that has been lost in the global financial crises has finished up.
So far so good Looks as though everyone has settled into holiday mode. Every time I have been to Robe it has been blowing a gale. Make sure that you stop off at the caves across the Nullabor which are off the highway. If you get bored I desperately need a mechanic at the moment.
I am loving reading the blog and seeing the gorgeous photos (the reflection pic is extraordinary). Keep the magic flowing and enjoy every second. And if not every second, then at least you can laugh about the challenging moments later. Big love, Roch. xxx
Hi It is so wonderful to know what you are doing and seeing the photos. I think the children are getting the best education there is- including all that time with their great parents. I think about you often. Love to you all - Sylvia.
"olden days" Hi Kornies, seeing Deanna's note and your blog tells me that the olden days weren't bad - we had the best fun doing what you're doing now, simple pleasures. Love your descriptions of the fun you're having. Keep enjoying. Love , Debbie.

robe leaves montefiore for dead by the sounds of it hi kornies. loving reading the blogs and the looking at the wonderful photos. feels as if we're almost along for the ride with you! avi was particularly impressed by the sprinklers.... hope each day continues to thrill. much love, the wolffies. xo
Ripper quotes Sam: 1898. That’s when Papa last won the Gliding Nationals in Benalla - PRICELESS
Korny: "I'm not a one ply guy" - why don't you try a 'back, sack & crack' and maybe that will help you save the environment... one ply at a time.
Jealous It all looks like so much fun! - Kathy, I too love reality tv shows but I'm not sure I'm ready to live in one. I admire you all and think your kids are just going to have the best photo album and show 'n tell ever.
