The Myrtle Plantation. It is a huge tourist attraction in terms of ghost hunters. Built in 1794 it is rumoured to have been the site of 10 seperate murders in it's time and of course contains the legend of the ghost Chloe. But then, having been there, you would know that.
A place I would very much like to visit one day. You lucky people!
Keep up the Good work! My dear Cains.... received your postcard the other day, lovely to hear from you. Also really enjoying the Blog, you sound nearly educated but most importantly it sounds like you are having an amazing time. Keep your eyes peeled for some little treats from me in the near future. Unfortunately the Hotel you were at on the 22nd didn't email me back until after you had left else you would have been having a bottle of bubbly to celebrate my birthday!
Much Love

Hey you two, still having a great time I see. Would love to go to a rodeo but as you know Kev won't venture very far from a poker table :) What no alcohol Stu.. at least Rach is doing it for the girls. What a fantastic road trip, pity about the weather but the further South you go I'm sure it well get sunnier.
Enjoy
DALLAS/FORT WORTH/HOUSTON pity about your weather in Dallas, but great to see the photos anyway.......I visited the infamous ''grassy knoll'' from where the now legendary footage of the assasination was filmed...FASCINATING STUFF........
Rachel you're a star... and mad. Looks like you're both having a ball. Bruce Springsteen has a song called Cadillac Ranch on the River album, don't know if it is related or not... will look into it.
Quarters. I'm as sad as you are Stu as I collect the quarters too! We were out there when they originally started to release the 'States' quarters and bought two different books/folders to keep them in. Never did finish (well not yet) but the best I have is 42 different quarters.
I might have to raid your collection when you return (I could hold your dog ransom for them ;-) )
Amarillo Peter Kay is quaking in his boots after that rendition Rach, chart domination here you come :-)
Loving your blog, sounds like you are both having lots of fun, i'm totally jealous. I will show you around some great things when you get to Sydney though don't worry.

Brilliant write up again, love the hats Rach especially the wolf one!! Prairie dogs are ace - I have wasted a memory card taking pictures of our squirrels in the garden - kev yawns lol.

Looks great. Keep it coming.
Grand Canyon WOW.....I'm just SO envious.....been to the GC twice, once when I was 19, and again about 8 yrs ago....when I was 19 I took the overnight mule ride to Phantom Ranch a mile below the South rim, staying at a log cabin by the Colorado river...AWESOME........your cabin looks fabulous......what a GREAT trip..!!!!
