Barcelona
Glad you are having a good trip. Since you are off to Barcelona I thought I would send you a recommendation for a must see- Parc Guell is great and free. A blend of amazing Anton Gaudi buildings and great outdoors. If you go be sure to take the bus as the walk from the metro is uphill and brutal. Have fun. Watch out for pick pockets and Barcelona is a mecca for them. P.S. the beach in Barcelona is sandy.

I so envy the two of you touring around and doing as the Romans do. I especially liked knowing that you indulged in gelato without me. It looks hot there - make sure you wear your sunscreen, ladies. caves
The caves look great on the web site. Unfortunately when Jim and I visited a very minor cave in the south of France to see Paleolithic paintings ( it was only 7 -yes seven steps down) we discovered that he is even more claustrophobic than I am. So we will have to live vicariously. Add that to my fear of heights and Sherry would find me a poor traveling companion. Enjoy Italy. We loved what little we saw of it Linda

Hello ladies. I just looked back to your photos of Sherrie's adventures climbing. Sherrie, you must be nuts! Steph, I would travel with you any day - reading a book in a hostel is much better than the daredevilish ventures Sherrie is putting herself through. I'm sure she enjoys it in some warped way, though. I even felt a bit queasy just looking at the pictures....aaaaahhhh~~!

Glad you are enjoying Paris. Your trip looks full. Jim and I both loved Nice and Barcelona so we will send you some suggestions soon. Even if the hostels don't have free internet in most places we could find internet cafe's (store fronts) that were reasonable in price. Have fun Linda
