value and strength of families They sound like a wonderful family and your expeiences and interactions appear enlightening and enriching! We miss you and look forward to hearing more from you soon.
A new Cousin! Shannon,
Thanks for the wonderful blog post. As I read the girls the story, they squeeled with joy at the thought of a new couson Keko! :) It all sounds so wonderful. Thanks for sharing and keeping us up to date with your wonderful adventure.
I also was very moved by your finding common ground and spirit in all people. Truly wonderful!
Love,
Chad
Welcome back to the net Glad to see you're able to get your blog going. Especially the addition of some pix to help us feel like we're more a part of the experience.
So, you're now liberated of fallacies!(?) LOL That alone would be worth the trip! Things on this side are just as fast, hectic and devoid of tranquility as ever, so hopefully you're able to at least take the time to both enjoy your experiences there as well as avoiding the rat race here.
Love n Miss You 2,
~k
Wonderful to see and hear from you Please to meet everyone! Shannon and Steve, We in Boise send our hearts to you and are so glad to meet your family. We will include them in our mindfulness practice, holding them in loving presence. A bow to all! Mtae
thanks for sharing I appreciate the great pictures and your travel story. Thanks for including me in your sharing your amazingly wonderful adventure.
Peace, love and joy in your journey, always. Love, Tomi
Beautiful Again, beautiful scenery and narrating your travels and pictures w/us. But most importantly to me, are the wonderful 3 lessons you've learned on your journeys, when you get home and I get there, I hope and pray just a dusting of those beautiful lessons rub off on me! (I M.M.S.)
Wow- once again I am blown away by your photos. As well as by your stamina and virility. I am so happy that the two of you have given yourselves this journey. Keep on trekking and blogging. Love, Andrea
Beautiful creations Shannon, what a wonderful adventure you and Steve had and again, even being so tired, so willing to share it with all of us! Thank you so much. The beauty I could see in these pictures and the ones of the children brought tears to my eyes so I can't even amagine how you two must've felt standing in the midst of it all and meeting such humble beautiful people. I must admit, I'm a bit jealous I'm not as brave as the two of you as to have taken such a huge leep of faith to go to Argentina to help out friends then go and explore the beauty that God's provided all around us. I'm so proud of both of you but as usual I M.M.S. and will see you in Oct. I love you both.
What a great trip and experience! Sharing your stories with Darrel and Jodi. Your emails have touched and blessed so many people, Thank You. The childrens pictures didn't print out, so I could share them with the others.Think you should write a book, with all the tales and pictures.. Miss you and looking forward from hearing from you again. Love to you both, Fran
wonderful trip pics and story Hi Guys, You look great, happy and younger, like all do when on vacation. Thanks for keeping me posted. It's been a bit of a struggle for me here in C'd A. But I just got a full-time job, I have income, an apt and a car! Whew! And lessons with all trials.
I will be able to communicate more often. Love and miss you, Tomi
Enough Said! Shannon, as always, I loved the pictures! But what grabbed my heart the most about this trip was the way the children at San Juan de Dios made you feel, I could almost share those feelings through your words and pictures, thank you so much for sharing that wonderful moment in time! I love and miss you way lots and hope your having a wonderful time, duh!!!( M.M.S.)
Again, WOW I'm loving this magical journey your taking us all on! Shannon, you have such a gift for putting into words, the smells, the sounds, the beauty. and the friendships around you that it's like we can all experience them with you and Steve. I'm still, of course, missing my sis, goes w/out saying and people are probably tired or reading it but tough! It's how I feel.
I'm so glad you keep us informed also so we all know you're safe as we all worry about ya'll so far away from us, but I know God is watching over you just by your photos and comments on the great people you've met. and I'm so greatful for that! I love and miss you
So Peaceful Hi...I am now caught up on all of your posts. I enjoyed the mountain and sea pictures equally. I'm a bit jealous. 6 days in a small fishing village sounds like heaven about now. So glad you are having a lovely adventure. You are missed here! Keep having fun and be safe. Love you both.
Whatever Nice pictures and post but I am deeply offended by the reference to the car abuse reminding you of your own teenagers. I never put a scratch in your car OR told a lie. Looks like a great adventure!
Great Experiences Looks like so much fun. You both have been so truly blessed by the people you've met, areas visited, and your experiences you've had. When you accept something like this, you have no idea the things you'll do. So happy for you. Enjoy the remainder of the time you have there. We miss you both.
Love, Fran
I can't believe what an incredible adventure you two have been on! Thanks for all the wonderful pictures and keeping me in the loop. I'm putting Chile on my someday list and I'll be sure do take my skiis. It's a beautiful clear sky 70 degree day here in lovely Montana.
Beautiful scenery, sounds like an exciting trip to Chile. Hope you continue to enjoy the Southern Hemisphere! It is turning to fall here. I've been loving the pics from the Ann. Party on my screen-saver of all the family. Love, Bob and Rita
Wow What a thrill ride you took us on this trip!! I about got car sick just looking at the pictures!! Glad it was you and not me but glad you took me along by way of photography!! What a wonderful trip for you two. Still miss my sis!!!
My husband and I have now completed our Peace Corps service in Botswana, and are living in Boise, Idaho. I'm still learning that no matter where I travel, there I am with my perceptions in tow, but with each experience, I'm learning to let go and the burden becomes lighter.... full info
