humility a saw ass from a minor fall hey bob????? it looked (to me) like more of a 12 foot tumble down a cliff edge before an inevitable 15 foot drop into a hole... i cannot believe you went running! although then again, it is BOB after all.
Hi Bob, Got to tell you, you've been to so many places that I've never even heard of. Looks like you are having a good time enjoying the "wanderlust". Things are good here with your Dad and me--I am 100% back to normal (hope that's a good thing!) and tomorrow we are going to Ava Christening--we will give her a kiss from Uncle Superman! Stay well and keep enjoying yourself, BUT we miss you!!!!
Bobby, Im really happy for you. you needed this adventure and seeing you in all these pictures, I have an overwhelming sense of peace, like you are exactly where you are supposed to be right now. I dont need to tell you to soak up every moment of this because i know you already know this is experience is going to be so precious for the rest of your life. I told Sara C. and Matthew H. to check out the blog. Cant't wait to talk to you on the phone and get all the details you know im after. BTW, I have SKYPE so we could technically talk on the phone for free if you could work that out on your end..

what up bobby! what's up man. haven't seen you since budapest. just got a chance to read all your blogs. your trip sounds like it's going badass. i'll write you later
glad to see that there are derelicts in europe and that you are meeting all of them. Linda is home and doing well. no kemo! in a week or two she will be back to normal. i sent my chevy to a local auto trauma unit for estimates and opinions. it's been a week and i haven't heard back yet. after a very good memorial stormville we had our usual party.....Ava is beautiful, except for the parts where she looks like Eric. the kids had fun with the traditional water fight. Jake brought his own weapon.
all is well here and we hope that you are enjoying your trip and are finding what you are looking for. keep in touch. dad
Your Mom was my neice Hi Robert. Your mom was my neice, as Mike and Frank are my nephews. Mike shared your blog with me. Very enjoyable. I spent 3 summers in Italy, actually Capri with my Dad (Michaelangelo Spinella) in '54, '55, '56. Have fun and watch out for the "pickpockets", advice from my Dad way back when. Take care, Skip
Indy How did you like the new Indy Movie? Harold took Noah to see it yesturday cause his little buddies backed out on him. I was going to call him to see how he liked the movie. Well, I have to go pickup the on-call truck as I am on-call today and tomorrow. Take it easy brother, I look forward to recieving my notifications that you have posted something. It makes me feel like I am a part of your trip. It is really great that you are so far away and yet it is like I am with you at least for these brief moments that I read your posts. Godspeed to you my son.
calle tipico this is the second comment on more or less the same topic, i dont think the last one went through...
bobby it cant be a coincidence that you took that picture of "calle tipico" standing at that exact spot. I have that scene imprinted in my soul. when i saw it i was instantly trasported there. i remember that exact view, the pink, yellow and beige buildings and the tower in the back. i looked up and saw it so many times over that summer with cristian and with cristina. things like this keep me from being a complete atheist. have some piadina (sp) for lunch one day, its a regional specialty.
wow "calle tipico" oh my god, i walked up and down that street so many times that summer, bobby, the picture freaked me out! hasnt changed at all. you should have taken pictures of his house. which room did you sleep in? i hope cristina is around, i told her so much about you.
i cant believe you are there, this is surreal. thanks for going full circle.
love,
sara
Good to see you made it. Well it is a far cry from trying to sail across the ocean for your first voyage at sea but.....I am glad you made it safe and sound. I can appreciate "needing this experience" as I have needed many in my life as you know. I only wish I could have joined you on your journey. Jess wishes she could do the same. From your words in print, you seem more like Bobby than the last day I spoke to you. I love you brother and I hope you are having a good time over there. Be smart, be safe, be Bob. Addie says aaagewoo or something that sounds like that. She is 15lbs 14 oz, 24 3/4 inches tall, and her melon circumference is 15 1/4". I took off work this week cause I couldn't stand it so it is nice to be with her all day. Ok I will report back to get an update. Peace
Happy Mothers Day Just wanted to say happy mothers day. hope all is going well. i finally got the pictures sorted out, so you can go back to the blog entries and see some of the pictures. i took alot more but its tough to upload them. everything is going great. i hope you have a happy mothers day.
love bobby
