bicycle man hey hey hey, he practically forced us into his bike when we got off the bus. without us, he had no business!! It was only like a mile long ride, so dont feel too bad for him!
Of course he liked the head cheese! Who wouldn't? ;) Great snaps guys (really), but did you sing the appropriate bit of Barry Manilow upon your arrival in Copa?
Comments 1 You call that thing an omolet? It looks lke a peice of egg with bacon on it. btw, why didn't you just rent a car instead of making that poor man drag you and all your luggage through the border. Talk about rude Americans. tsk...tsk..
bring me a live llama Awesome. The caretaker's hut photo is going to make you famous. Loved the wandering baby llama and can't make to see more photos of MP. Your hiking butts must be strong!
I love the photo of you with the bread pudding! (Lors played fetch with MopMop yesterday, he seemed to really enjoy himself.) You are running a great blog thus far! We've seen locals, animals, natural terrain, architecture, and most importantly...cheap food! We're excited to hear how La Paz treats you! And lastly..Stephen- you liked the head cheese? Come on now, are you for real?
Haha So I have been doing my own food experimenting right here at home without even trying to. Unlike u, who won't eat anything alive, I on other hand just swallowed a tiny flying insect. If I did It u should! So what if it happened to me complete and utter accident, it still counts. Hey, and since u guys can't get to the bank, take advantage and get ur protein from the exotic bugs
around there. Haha
Haha boom baby! That is actually what Cusco says, I just got that. Hahhaha
Thanks for the postcard! Cusco misses his homeland and is jealous u both got to visit it. He gives many thanks for the poster. He hung it up so he could feel more at home. Haha.
What was it that made u sick? Are there pictures of what NOT to eat? Hahha
Copacabana Loved the picture of the Saints in the bus, so tipical! The blessing of the car- they know the "Secret", of you eating rubber with bits of rubber! What a experience! love mom
Thank you Thank you so much for my birthday greeting and song! Michael and I are enjoying all your great pictures. Machu Picchu seems dreamy, surreal. You must be on top of the world!
Fraaaannnngoo I was about to gag when I read TUNA SMOOTHIE. Hahaha good thing it's only a fruit. Please do take lots of pictures of pretty places. I want to get an idea of what all of these places look like. It looks goregous so far. Is it at all rainforesty like?
The Rouse is doing good btw. We took him on walks twice this week. I'm going to house sit startin Mon-sat so they'll get daily walks when it's not too hot those days.
Love u
You wuss! I challenge you to eat something alive! Do the same rules apply to Stephen with the food or will he eat something that's alive and not be a big baby like u. Hahaha
Food looks good.
Looks like u all r having fun.
Miss ya
its funny cause the only picture you'll ever really see of spitback when traveling is a picture of him making his own picture. ha f***** awesome!
(gouds had a long nice walk today)
good thing your getting use to hiking cause i almost sold SM's baby (the truck, not the neen) for big buck O's. Next time, if i see the same man passing by and he asks me again if im willing to sell the truck i'll say YES! i'll make BANK! tchau tchau for now
dude, its MUCH more than a hill dad! Its a freaking MOUNTIAN.. But yeah, I bet the people who lived there were in great ass shape anyway.
Re. the alpaca... not so much minerally as iron-y and gamey :)
WOW! Hey Guys,
Awesome pics! Keep 'em coming. Your pics of Machu Picchu are truly inspiring. Especially the one of Mott sketching. It so reminds me of the time when Mott and I wrapped ourselves in a blanket, overlooking the grand canyon at dawn, sharing a cup of hot coco, and later that night....well, that was a long time ago.
I love that you guys are doing this blog. I'll check in with you soon.
Love BAM
Machu & ship Dude, I Google-Earthed Machu Pichu and Ollantaytambo. Machu is like on the face of a mountain. Why would you build a city there? You'd like have to go up the hill just to go to church or whatever. Hella nice anyway. What did Critter mean by a food bazaar? Which was more minerally, the alpaca steak or the purple corn drink? Será que eles servem a cerveja estupidamente gelada em Ollantaytambo?
Hope you enjoyed for me Steve (and Sandra too of course) I'll probably never get there myself and always wanted too... ah well, living vicariously is what family is for eh?
Machu Picchu Wow! This is all so great!
If you manage to get to a city called OLLANTAYTAMBO, you problally have seen everything!!!!Read comment from Sergio at Gooda's picture site. MOM
wowzers It sounds like everything is going well thus far! I love all the details, stories, and pics..makes me feel like I'm almost there, almost. I'm excited that you guys got to experience Machu Picchu firsthand. Closest that we'll ever get is flipping through an old Natural Geographic mag or maybe watching the Travel Channel. (Is there a travel channel?) Anyway, thanks for keeping us posted! We miss you big!

Cuzco So nice to get news from you. Feels like I'm having this experience with you. Cuzco reminds me of a city in Brazil-Minas Gerais called Tiradentes. The hills and old stone streets and houses.
On Monday you will be going to Machu Pichu..I hope you both got used with the altitude and are feeling better.
I love looking at your pictures and reading about your experiences.
I miss you, love mom
