Hellbound train Glad you're having a great time. Trains there may not be the most comfortable but (from what I can recall) they're usually on time? Would also guess that what you're doing (aside from copping out on walking to visit the Buddha: girls? - huh) must be how David Attenborough got started? Pops.
Hello girlies,
I like the sound of the big cuddly pandas. Was it cold? If so you can see when they guff-haha!
What a life-drinking every day, meeting new friends and doing no work. I hope you are being good with your money and don't end up having to sell beads on the beaches of Thailand or offer massgaes-ohh-errr!
6 weeks to go for me now-yeyyyyyyyyyy!

Oh I do have a chuckle picturing you both in these situations!!
So its just like home with having a daily tipple, singing on the kareoke ("what a feeling" that picture gave me!) and waking up with a sore head.
Sounds like fun.Love you both xxx
Boyingy bits!!! Just spent 10 minutes trying to spell Boyingy (you know those gristly bits in the Chicken), then realised that its probably not a word except in the Ward household - therefore, I resorted to the old faithful 'spell it as you say it' method that I have always used!! Anyway, after all that, all I was going to say on the subject was that I hope you checked the Chicken for 'Boyingers'?? Or was that the least of the worries.
The Warriors look awsome, I cant believe they got that many people to stand still long enough to turn into stone!!! Amazing!
Keep having fun ladies, Messy.x.
Jealous Hi Vic, I am just back from Croatia, it was really nic, very clean and not at all smelly. weather was great. I having just been reading your update and wishing I was back in China. Sounds like you are getting into the swing of things. Enjoy the rest of China, have a great time. Be in touch soon.
Ab Fab! Absolutely great photos. You really do seem to be getting the hang of this travelling lark. So gald you made it out of the chocolate box room! Love

Cheesy feet Chicken feet-blurgh! Did they have little hairs and claws on them-yummy?!
I'm glad you have made some friends and are enjoying being a tourist for a while. I can't think of anything else exciting to say for a change-I'm getting freshers flu (although I'm not technically at Uni anymore).
Take care girlies.

Yum Yum Hey Girls
Looks like your having some wicked fun, but Vic you really don't look like your enjoying those lovely chicken feet, Sam had the right idea by being full. I have to say that only you guys can go to a Country a million miles away and find a Rock!!!! WELL DONE. Love you both xxx
Chicken Feet???? Glad to hear you girls are getting stuck into the way of life out there - shame you were so full to sample that little delicacy although can see you will probably have a fair few Bushtucker Trials ahead of you!!! Do give them a go though, just don't think about what you're eating!!! Pics are excellent, just wondered who Sam is singing karaoke with near the end......? Is there action in Xi'an already?
My God Such funny pictures! Vic rooms remind me of the grotness of our aiya napa apt when you were on the squitty bed in the kitchen! love you millions xx
Sweet dreams! Ha. I liked the photos and the banana. You appeal to my weird sense of humour. Gutted about the loos- I hope you haven't weed on your shoes yet-yum!
I haven't heard of where you are I don't think although I'm sure I am pronouncing it incorrectly in my head, so maybe I do know it. Have fun getting boozed and being all touristy.
I am off to London in 2 hrs for a Uni reunion-unfortuantely, not Pop Tarts though Vic. It is on this Sat at Kings cross but we have other plans-booohooo! I wanted to go and dance to Bon Jovi and Jason Donovan thinking I look really cool and sexy whilst having a snakebite moustache, ripped tights and bent shoes-bring back any memories???
Right, I am off to waste the next 2 hrs and then get drunk on the train with my bottle of vodka and wine. I'm a bit scared of the underground mind you as it is Friday the 13th-get off me Jason-dadadada!

Reading whilst eating... Was about to read this as I ate my lunch but decided not to when I read the title and boy, was I glad I didn't!!! I physically gagged at the toilet and shower situation and you could only make it worse for me by letting me know the cockroach levels...! The train journey sounds hilarious - I'm sure you must know by know Chinese for "Stupid English bitches"!! Any sign of CSI on the tv's over there - can't imagine Grissom translating very well....! Keep having fun, xxxx
2nd Attempt! Hey Girlies!
My second attempt of trying this to see if it works but not really sure how to do it!!
Toilets look.....um to be desired! All an experience though eh!!!
Big Hug!

The Toilet Now Sam when you say it looks like someone had an upset stomach, do you really mean that YOU used the toilet, could not flush it away, so called Vic in to show her how minging the toilets here are as a cover up????
You sound like Bash and Roly................... on a Saturday night planning the route - SWE, Silver Tick, Crilly Crown, Bar Banana and HHHHHHHHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPPPPPPPPPPPPPP, Exept your route is on a slightly larger scale!!
The pictures look quality, except I am quite concerned that there does not seam very much drinking going on in them - what are you playing at? Get on with it! Or can Sam not handle the mornings after without her DU VET?? Take care ladies!
Very jealous! Hey guys, glad to hear your having a wonderful time, loved the pic of u vic on the train! You look plastered (as you should be!). Hope the train journey has gone well and your not sleeping next to anyone too smelly/pervy/irritating, and keep the photos and notes coming! Love Han x x
hope your both alright sounds like your havin a whale of time u lucky bastards, good to here from you vic, hope your alright. Dave (scientifics lab monkey)
chinese takeaway Hello Girlies,
Your blog is making me really hungry and gagging for a greasy chow mein with intense levels of food coluring. It's only tenish in the morning and I still have to get to the gym-shame on you!
You look like you are having a great time. Vic, I see you have your sterotypical traveller uniform on of combats, khaki and accupunctures-haha! I bet by the time you have been in Thailand for a while you will have dreads, a ridic tan, floating kaftans and gap year beads!
I love the photos. It's so weird how it does look like part of London. I suppose I expected it to look like all traditionally Chinese and people dancing in the streets with chop sticks. Oh well, it's not like the movies.
Right, I must dash to do some much more exciting stuff with a tube of DNA, I can hardly contain my excitment.

Updated! Hi girls
You seem to be having a lovely time! I can't believe how much you've crammed in already!
Thanks for this route map, I have now updated my Sam and Vic's Excellent Adventure wall map. Everyone in my office is very excited and wonder where the next star will be stuck!

Hey Girls!

Look after yourselves and Be Safe!!
Keep Smiling I know you will!

case of the green eyes.... Just a quick msg as I sit and plan for 6th form Open Evening tonight - been here since 7am and not going to be leaving till 9.30pm - after a day of shitty Yr 10 groups being idiots.....sooooo jealous of your fun! You seem to have settled into the travelling life quickly, just enjoy it. You'll find that some places seem to have no backpacker scene at all, while some are amazing. The chances are you are probably just around the corner from lots of other like-minded people but you haven't found each other! The cleanest trains/buses etc are never the funnest so look forward to some travels with chickens round your ankles on narrow wooden benches in 40 degree heat on dirt tracks. Those are the journeys that you will remember. Have fun and keep sending pictures and updates. x
The Missing Girl! How nice to finally see your ugly face, Vic...got a bit concerned Sam had left you in Ciren!! Must say your pics are amazing, making me very envious! Cannot wait to see the gems you send home to your families for xmas - can see Soph swinging her very fake Prada bag! I have one request - should you spot a lovely cute little Chinese baby floating around, just whack it in a jiffy bag and send to me pronto as have always wanted one (apparently the latest accessory!)!! xxx
Hi Peeps, at last pictures...but where is Vic?? Have you lost her already Sammy?!! ITV News are running a special report in China all this week, so try and find out where they will be and get yourselves on the telly ha ha!! LOL Anna xx
