Hello!! Hi Sam! Nobody told me you had a travelblog! I was bored and looking through my offline MSN contacts and found the URL in your name. Wow. It all looks so wonderful and exciting! Experiencing all the different cultures and food must be amazing. Loving the pictures. I hope you continue to have a great time and I will keep checking back for updates.

i miss you bro! hey sam!
herd you spoke to mum yesturday! first time i rang home i got really emotional. hope it wasnt too bad for you!
so its been about 6 weeks now! feels weird huh? already settling into the travelling mindset. the 6 week mark was a bit hard for me. th e thought of how long you have left is uplifting, exciting, daunting and unnerving at the same time right?
just say if you dont agree.
miss you bro! see you next year!
Love Joss

Glad to get your blogs, just starting to worry. Loas is supposed to have the nicest friendliest people, not having gone through the trials of Cambodia or Viatnam and it sounds like that might be true. good pictures too. Sounds very romantic, taking a trip down the mekon
Love you Mum
This sounds like it was really good and helping the local communities too. The one Jody was on seemed to be more about smoking opium and she and Judy ,who she was, with got scared. they were with a group of youngstrs Joss's age I think, but you seemed to have picked , or through luck got, a really good group. This is what I imagine travelling is really about, a chance to make new friends from a round the world and to get a glimpse of how others live
all love MUM

Hello Hi Sam, good to see you are having an amazing trip out there. To be honest, nobody told me you were going, so it is ace to see these blogs, they really are the highlight of the week.
Keep having fun.
hope the gun thing is a joke cos i really don't fancy having one in the house! I have just got back from a womens walking weekend in Derbyshire. Had a really good time with 27 Urban bush women. we gatecrashed a party in a pub last night with disc and kariokie great fun these women really know how to go for it. We danced and sang and really took over the party but everyone seemed happy about it. Staye up til 2am, even though we had been walking all day. Another walk this morning and now I am aching and aboutto gofor a hot bath.
We will have to see south east asia for ourselevs one day.
Love and everthing mum xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Great to talk to you today. hopefully will be able to do so for longer next time. It must have just been bad luck that we were out when you have called before. Sounds like you are still having a great time and hearing your voice re-assures me you are healthy and happy. Loads of love to you both
hey hey Hey you two,
hows your head sam! Good to hear you didn't hurt yourself to bad, and catch some scary disease! Anyway, be sure to bring me back a kick ass prezzie, nothing cheap and girly ;). Have fun!
love,
kev
sorry to hear from jen's blog in particular that the trip was a bit of a disappointment and that the journey's were a hassle. it soiuns and looks idyllic but i suppose all places get like that once they are "discovered". Prices stuill look cheap to me but i suppose when you are on a very tight budget, you havre to watch every penny especially after paying more than you thought for the trip. Hope you get some time to relax and unwind though cos travelling is exhausting
- Again, I appreciate the comment here, but I have no idea who sent it. Could people please leave a name so I know who i'm talking to? Cheers. Yeah we have had plenty of time to relax and unwind, so don't worry about that ;-)
Did you see my email too. I hope so. Sorry we can't do anything about the cheese, but I don't think it would survive well in that climate. we do miss you a lot , although we might not be used to you living here, we were used to talking regularly and knowing you were only up the road really. Will probably notice the loss even more after the weekend when Joss wil be gone too
- Hope your health is good and you are looking after each other and enjoying your relative freedom before settling down
love you, and love to Jen xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Photos Sorry no photo updates! There isn't reqally the time here. Next place I go, I promise I'll add more photos. I would have added more to the last blog, but the computer crashed and by the time I sorted it out we had to get the bus to the Perhentians.
Love to all (missing my firends and family. And I've got a craving for Wensleydale cheese that I've no hope of satisfying for another 5-and-a-half months)
hey those gold guys look badass. Hm the view looks quite good from Pegoda
Is this Alex? I'd prefer people put their real names down so I know who's posting. Funny comment, though.
oooooh memories! yeh 'lake' is cool as hell (i thought he was called 'leg' though) and i know what u mean out his ethnicity being hard to place cos he sounds mexican! he used to say "mmhhmhmhmjossmdrumhsmhm" which meant "joss is gonna play drums now!". that 24RM internet is true. thats the one i had to use after losing my wallet to cancel my credit card! you see why i couldnt phone them myself? also make sure you take all the cash you'll need, there's no cash machines on either island!!
