I thought I'd try to get this blog thing up and running well before we set off, but I find that there's nothing to report and it seems I have to do some proper entries to have my blog allowed. What's wrong with pens and paper, I wonder. Anyway, we are now in possession of two very shiny new bikes - Mercian-made, with Rohloff gears.
