Hey! Hope you are all well? I miss you. We were just crossing the Mekong River in a boat, between Thai and Laos immigration, in my last update. Saturday 3 July - Huay Xia to Pakbeng As soon as we got off the boat in Huay Xia, the Laos border town, we noticed that everything looked a bit different and the Laos people were even more smiley and friendly than the Thai people. Laos immigration took longer; we had to hand our forms and Passports to the immigration people and watch the paperwork go between 4 different people. It cost me $35 US Dollars.
