I must say, the Pre-tour Concert was exquisite! (in spite of the fact that I had everything firmly memorized except the concert order:) but then, I think the chant sounded surprisingly fine up an entire whole step!) This group is really starting to bond and develop a consistent sound, and are quite well set for a trip and competition of this caliber. While I do not philosophically believe in competitions being the final goal when it comes to musical performance, they are certainly a means by which we gain a higher level of performance and artistry... (but secretly, I really want to place in this competition!) ...and so, Prima Voce, the real fun begins!
