I will send A SEPARATE EMAIL later today (tomorrow at latest) from our stay in Naples... and from our trip back to MUC ..etc.! With Love Peter
PS: Rosita and I will watch your Odysse-Report of our great time together in Sorrento later; looking forward to it ! :-)
The garden cottage is so sweet and enchanting. So nice all the basics were stocked for you. Glad your travels to Paris were nice and smooth. Hopefully, you will be partaking in some crème brûlée today! 😀
Great Memories Safe travels to Paris.. many memories and friends made. Travel opens us to new cultures, ways of living and delicious foods. You have both done that. Happy June! Love you both💕
Safe travels tomorrow. You had beautiful view from your apartment and always a source of entertainment. You got to truly live as Italians (rather than living with one, lol) for 45 days and eat amazing food and drink! Arrivederci Sorrento, Bonjour Paris!
You both have certainly made some good friends in Sorrento during your stay. I don’t think anyone else would have received a message in chocolate sauce like you did, but you guys are special like that. I started to get teary with all the goodbyes and the “last” everything. Time to pack and head to the next adventure! 😘
What a beautiful day. So glad you joined Rosita and Peter to the Marina I remember the delicious food we had there and the view. Lunch looked so… yummy.
The marina is so beautiful, no matter where you look. Love the history of the restaurant and that it is still there after all these years. I see Dee getting the idea from the shrine for her garden. It is going to start looking like Italy when you get home. Need a good place for limoncello spritzers. And those pastries, be still my heart.
Memorable Day Wow another memorable day..food outstanding good times with friends. Coming to an end but great memories. Dee we have to make limoncello when you get home! Love you
Papa reminds me of my grandpa with his comedic antics (thankfully he didn’t sing for his customers). Amazing food, friends, and entertainment, what could be better! I am going to have to have Johnny make me the pasta with shrimp and asparagus, yummy! Love all the photos! Have a wonderful day today!
Friends Great friends and food! What could be more fun. Weather looked sunny. Those white asparagus are to die for. Enjoy your last few days In Sorrento.
Happy to see Rosita and Peter arrived safely and for reminding us how you met. You all make me so hungry first thing in the morning when I read the blog. Now, I want all those desserts for breakfast and I will eat eggplant parmigiana anytime of day! 😏 can’t wait to see what’s next! 😘
France is amazing Just spent some time catching up on all your adventures in France...........boy, how I miss Southern France and Nice. Looks like you had a wonderful time! So glad you got to see some sunshine. The views look incredible along the coast. I would love to be in some of the photos with you! I think the Villa you visited looks so rich in history......and how kind of your concierge to get you some champagne when he saw you. So glad you made safe travels back to Sorrento. I hope you are loving the rest of the time you have left there. I will keep looking for more photos! The birds.....that made me laugh, Mitch. Grandma, so proud of you and so happy to see you so happy! Missing you bunches!!
I was hoping you were done with the rain. Keep doing limoncello shots to keep you warm. The pizza looks really good, but potatoes don’t really belong on a pizza. Love seeing all the wonderful people you have encountered around Sorrento.
I’d say you were blessed to be gone during the bad rain. What is in the spritzer? I don’t think I read yet what kind of fish you have there?
Keep having fun!!!
Ciao Back in Sorrento..looked sunny today food always delicious looking. May the weather continue to be sunny. Interesting people that we meet when we travel and friends that we make. Enjoy
pleasant ventures of necessities aahhh, grateful the sun is shining brightly and that you seem to have dodged the rain, maybe your travels back included the sun following. sad that the other tourists had to endure such weather. meals always do not disappoint, and the limoncello spritzers sound very refreshing (shall have to have an afternoon of these together). look forward to more italian adventures.
Sorrento Success... Grateful the travels went so smoothly back to Sorrento, bittersweet farewells shared and glad you managed to catch a photo with Jean-Pierre, would have been sad if hadn't gotten one. There truly is no place like home... even the temporary home. (trust me, I know). The sandwich looks to be delishness and the smile on your face Dee, just speaks in volumes. Love you are settling back in and look forward to more adventures.
Paradise Found...Paradise Lost Seems you have been able to relax, and reflect upon your peace found these past days. Sadly, it is time to move forward to yet another portion of paradise, but hopefully one day you may return to this small portion of found paradise. Love the selfies taken, food photos, and scenery, exceptionally beautiful. Safe travels to be had and many more memories captured.
Paradise Found... atleast for now Kudos again to you both for taking on another hike, such a worthwhile and breathtaking adventure. Grateful to you Mitch for venturing onward to expand your lessons of history. The church and views are just beautiful, thank you again for sharing. A delightful treat, server mistake...maybe or not...either way was to your enjoyment and a nice way to settle your adventure.
Amazing Day First off, kudos to you both for sustaining the adventure and miles put on those legs and feet today, Dee rest that knee!!! Those gardens are such a sight, imagine calling this property "your home", stunning all the way around. Thanks for the backstory and all the amazing photos.
