what's for dinner? ...Palermo. Not to be confused with the "Tony Palermo Special" consisting of dark chocolate chunks drizzled onto roast beef rolls and thrown into a cereal....it's a breakfast meal.
Outstanding Hi kid, wow great camping adventures and sites for sure - love them so much - especially the one looking out your tent - makes you think about life.
Keep traveling and enjoying the good life Ray, thinking of you back home.
I am off to France with Mark L and others for a week of skiing, then with Bill, Shirley and Denise to Dominican Republic for a week in the sun - perfect vacation!
Cheers,
Ray B.
jealousy abounds I agree with Rob - these are the best pictures so far. I'm glad you are developing some skills in your drifter life. I going to start planing my trip to NZ today.
In the spring of 2007 I traveled from Hawaii to Fannie Island on the NCL-Wind. We spent the day being entertained by these friendly people. Their war dress. Their children singing. Their lodgings. Their crafts. Their beaches and all of their smiles was a great day for us.
It is sad to see the people abandoned by their only means of support.
Thanks
CDM
Another great update Raymond, sounds like you had a rough go at it though! scenery is just unreal...beats the hell out of overcast skies and 30 degree temps back home any day.
Whadd'up Hey Ray,
Your talking about drunken monopoly reminded me of back in the day at your house. Remember when you Anthony and I played those marathon Monopoly games! They were fun, now that we're legal, we should try the drunken version! Sorry to hear about the nursing thing, but their loss. I look foreward to hearing about your next adventure! Be Safe, Be Happy and Take Care! Lots of Love, Barb
Right on Rayzer! NZ'S loss, but you could sell your photos!! The one of Asaf has great potential! Maybe on dart boards!
Ka kite, Lochies' very tired nurse.... 2 hours sleep last night...
so true "that which must be forced is never worth experiencing" I've been thinking along these lines so often lately and have, like you, decided that many things just can't be insisted upon. When they are destined to happen they will and too much effort on our part can change a plan that already is...
thanks for sharing. have a great next adventure.

baaaaaaah. ray--your picture comments are great. i like the little brown lamb...isn't there an expression about being the blacks sheep. can't wait to hear about your next adventure.

Been There I was lucky to have been one of the few people in the world to visit this place lost in time. We had researched it some before we went in Oct. 2007 and was able to take some humanitarian supplies there. NCL Cruise Line used to go there 4 to 6 times a year but has since abandoned it and the school they helped build there. We've been wanting to return but have been unable to find a way. It truely is a paradise unaware of the outside world. Loved it, it was our favorite stop by far.
Surfers Paradise Hi buddy,
good news: all of us have now a job on warner village theme parks (Nora, Franceska and I in Sea World and Soeren in MovieWorld) We have free entry in all parks and we got free tickets for friends each month... if you want to see a park.. let me know;)
So.. where are you now??
Nice regards.. Toni
You are my hero I was so glad to hear from you the other night. I updated everyone and we can believe you are just gonna wander the earth. Actually, I totally believe it. Safe travels to you. call often and I will look for updates.
from other side of the equator Hi Ray, nice to hear that you are safe, having the adventure of a lifetime, and still pooping. I remember having the same thoughts as you about the drains on this side of the equator. I love reading your stories, please keep writing. I miss you around here; the ER is not the same without you, especially on weekends. Take care. Ana Bananarama.
