Hey Dave Julie sent me a link to your blog, looks like you are having a fab time. Did you take A splash of..... with you?!! Anyway, hope all goes well with your travels. Best wishes to you both. Ang xx
Rugger Trust you will be watching the rugby on Sunday?.....As this will probably be the closest that NZ get to a world cup final.
On the off chance that you don't have a fanatical Kiwi rugby fan as a boss then that would be the womens world cup final of course.
Glad you're having a relaxing time and have a beer or two for Zoe and I.
Although I am not writting many comments, I am following your journey, and thinking of you both. I'm so glad your having a nice time.
Te quiero muchisimo!.
Jessica.
Just got back! Hello you two!! We just got back from Cancun (yes we are sporting great tans), and have enjoyed catching up on your travels! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVE!!!! Sorry we missed that!! Sounds like you had a great time. Sure hope your back gets better soon! You will be happy to here that the weather is cooling down... should only be about 99 degrees when you arrive!! LOL! :o) Ginnie we will have to start a "girls night out" routine, when you arrive (I would hate for you to have to break routine)!!! Safe journeys you two!
Bugger! Hi Dave and Ginnie!
Arrived in Brisbane last night and met up with mum... and discovered about this website!! Little did I know just hours earlier we were in the same city without knowing! Yes, I was in melbourne!! Was there with my girlfriend Bianca, visiting before coming up to Brisbane for Graduation. What a bugger! Oh well, look forward to possibly seeing you in nz. Hope you are enjoying melbourne, certainly is a different city that one! Looks to have been a great trip for you both so far!
much love
Sam
Old habits!! Hi guys
Was so lovely to see you both in Sydney and how funny to meet somewhere so awesome! Dave, really sorry I nabbed Gin for the afternoon, got her drunk on champagne and then bawled, but hey, old habits die hard!! (Although I don't usually do the bawling bit!)
It was an amazing experience and is strange to be home but so nice to see everyone. Funnily enough, caught up with Mand and Jane down the Baileys tonight!!! I've got some great pics of us all in Sydney btw:-)
Have loads of fun, take care. We miss you!

Happy bithday!
Happy Birthday Davey!
I hope the abbos who run that 3rd world hell-hole you're currently in process this message quickly enough to reach you on your birthday. I've given them a weeks notice, but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't reach you in time...
Disappointed by the photos. A real friend would have given you a melon to drink your beer from...
RIP to Steve Irwin. Have a witchetty grub on me.
Love to Mrs Winnie-woo.
The Old Man Dave: Glad you had a good birthday. Let me know before next Monday what it's like to be an old man.....and think of me sitting in an office working with the rain coming down outside!
Happy Birthday etc Firstly Dave - hae a onderful birthday - will be thinking of you on Monday - another excuse to raise a glass!
Nice to see the Friday girlie ritual has gone global! Mandy and I have tried to keep our end up here as well - sadly the weather has been cooler and the scenery isn't quite so stunning! Also absences have been noted! Lovely pics - and amazing that you guys got together the other side of the world! You're thought about often .... enjoy!
Very jealous Hi Ginnie and Dave,
Just read all of your blog, with my new boss occassionally peering over my shoulder (to hell with it, i say)! I am so jealous, the pictures look amazing and you've done so much, I didn't realise how well you'd planned it...is that what you were doing behind your computer Ginnie!! ya right!
If you have a chance, go to the Golden Sheaf pub in Double Bay (it's like Clifton of Sydney) - it's so cool and has nice live bands. Sydney is awesome for a bit of relaxing, shopping and drinking etc
The blog is great, so good hearing all your news!
Enjoy the rest of your travels. Miss you!

looking forward to endless videos!!!!! Hello you two! So sorry to read about your back injury Dave. I am sure you will be feeling better with a little rest. These sorts of things can happen, when you are jet setting around the world! We have so enjoyed seeing the photos and reading about all your wonderful adventures!!!! You both look fantastic, and are sporting better tans then us right now! Something we hope to change in a few days when we hit the beaches of Cancun! Mom and Dad send their love, as do we! Have a wonderful time and we will catch up when we come back on the 10th.
Lot's of love,
Clare and Matt
Bumboats Not sure why they are called bumboats, can't find the meaning of them anywhere! in the old days they use to carry cargo from the ships that came into port to the city.
Welcome to the Antipodes!!! About time you got down here, its only taken you 25years! Been watching your progress and counting the days till we meet in Auckland. Its still very cold down here so soak up some rays on Bondi beach. We may have to go shopping for some warm clothes Ginnie(any excuse will do!). See you soon, Lots of Love
Happy Travellers Hi guys, just thought you looked really happy! James wants to know why your ride was called a bumboat?! Jane and I are off camping, we'll see if we can find a Singapore Sling somewhere to keep you company Ginnie.... Looking forward to next blog update. Lots of love. M x
Clarke Quay Dave - what you appear to have forgotten to mention is why you went to Clarke Quay: okay it is nice, and some good restaurants and bars....but it is also the home of the Singapore branch of your all time favourite bar. Hope you enjoyed the sights !
Have a great trip Hello you two! We were concerned about all the airport stories, hope you got out without too many troubles!
Looking forward to tracking you on your wonderful journey! Post lots of photos. Love to you both! Can't wait to see you in October! :o)
We left Bristol, UK on the 15th August 06 to start a new life in Arizona. But before we got here we took an amazing journey, stopping in Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Hawaii. We had a fantastic time and are so glad that we did it. Now we are settled in Gilbert AZ and are starting to explore the sights and sounds of beautiful Arizona and the US. We'll keep you updated on our life and our travels.... full info
