When things go wrong
As a diver I appreciate all that can go wrong and appreciate you sharing this story. I would have reacted the way you did. I've had oxygen narcosis and it is dangerous because you don't always realize what is going on. Stay safe.

Diving Galapagos
I can't imagine that the Galapagos is a great destination for a new diver but sounds like they survived. How cold was the water?

I think the local day trips are better for new divers. There are some nice rocky areas and sand areas and still so much life. And there is an awesome big sailboat that I really wanted to dive from too.

Great shot...
Yes, I liked this one, and that one, and that one, etc...so many frog fish, but you must love them to see their beauty. I got another great shot of this one, yawning so wide he could have swallowed my strobe. But he was splayed out between two twigs so you had to see that before you could see the fish. Thanks for your interest.
