Hi Nomes & Bruce
I know you would just love this Nomes lol, so different from 5 star hotels, no hair driers, flush toilets or showers, and only just had running water on since 2008. We have alot to learn from these lovely people

Hi Mark
Yes having a blast, meeting some amazing people in Eastern Turkey even though we were told not to come to part of Turkey. People have so little, but are so generous and loving

Hi Murray, I\'m Mark and I work with Sheryl and she invited me to join your travelblog. I actually joined travelblog itself as the comments I tried to load kept failing. Anyway your holiday looks great and I know you\'re having the time of your lives. I\'m sure the rest of us who are following your exploits are enjoying it too. Cheers

Yuvacali Home Stay
Facinating! We are enjoying your blogs sooo much. What a "different" holiday to the normal ones we experience. We would never survive even the meal rituals! Sitting on the floor! You must be joking! The animals lok quite healthy and the people are certainly making you welcome. I love it! Thank you for sharing with us. Take care, love, Nomes xx

Hi Maraia
We are so enjoying ourselves, at times it can be hard with the language, but it is amazing what sign language and a smile can do. We are rather behind on our blogs as so mucg to see and do and not enough time in the evenings. Hopefully we can catch up. Sherylls says I waffle too much so might have to breif them down. Muzza

Hi Linda and thanks for the comments. Sheryll is managing well. We haven't felt at all threatened or in aany danger. The Turkish and Kurdish people are amazing. All smiles (probably laughs at these oldies with back packs) and very helpful, only today a young guy came up to us and helped us find our hotel, way off from ehere he was going to the bank with his mother, he was studying English and wanted to be an English techer

Ishak Palace
Yes we went into the palace, just amazing to think these buildings are still here and som many rooms. The views are outstanding, not that I looked straight down, just horizon viewing. The mellons were on the side of the road travelling, extremely dry paddocks that looked like they would not grow a weed. As usualy the ladies were stacking them in piles to be loaded on trucks

Ishak Palace
The dolmus ride was entertaining in itself. Driver tooting everytime he passes another vehicle not that we passed much at 5 km per hour, and tooting at cows on the cobbled road lol

Ishak Pasa Palace
We think you two are amazing and so brave! Were you allowed in to the Palace to have a good look around? How far away would the gardens that grew the watermellons etc. be? Most of it looks quite dry and baron and hot. Where to from here? Love the photos. Take care, Love, Nomes & Bruce xx
