Enlightened! I, too, finally got the right idea about BLOGS and also the comments. Good to read all the communications. Have a good time Brett and Jerry. The rest of you hang in there. It's very cold here now. Predicted l* tonight. Was below zero last night. (1/28/07) The snow isn't going to go away soon. Grandma
ahh...the david Again, jealous. Its good to hear that you guys are having a great time. Cold here too, although the "its cold in Geneva, I dislike it" sound a bit better than "its cold on McDonald, I dislike it". I can't wait for more global warming. Rod and I got pounded in our indoor tourney this weekend. All the more proof that there are thousands if not millions of better soccer players than us in STL.
Love you brother and talk/see you soon
Michael
finally I'm an idiot and didn't read your last three blogs til today! I kept waiting for an email, and didn't realize I had to go to the site.....anyway, mom got me up to speed, and I'm pumped to see dad in the photos with the new camera. As they say, you're not missing much here....
Thank you for your messages So interesting and thank you for sharing. I've read of people spending weeks and sometimes months in monasteries to pray and meditate.
Things are normal here. It snows every week. :-) Warmed up this week but we still have lots of piles of snow and it snowed a little this morning.
Hi to Jerry. We love you. Blessings.
Soooo good to hear from you both! Looks like it is warmer in Florence. Several people keep telling me about the snow storm in Europe. We decided KS Jer took it with him! M and EJ are planning on coming to KS the weekend of Feb. 16, so it will be storytime for you two. Blessings and love you both! Mom/Nancy

I will use my Yahoo account from now on.

No Flippin Way Are you going to a Barca game. Having just finished How Soccer Explains the World, I'm even more jealous. You may never be forgiven for this.
Good to hear from you! Of course we are anxious to have some explanation for those pictures, but they are quite fascinating! Sounds like you have a great set up in Barcelona. I would agree with grandma, did you take some pictures of your lodging? I will google those things that I do not know what they are :-) Dad leaves Sun for a meeting in KC and then flies out on Wed. It is getting quite hard to have both my guys somewhere I want to be. Oh well, maybe when Rodney and Gina are there :-) Hope your weekend works out. Love and prayers to you!
brett, where are you??? We have not heard from you for four days. Where are you? Please keep in touch, it worries me to not know where you are, especially when you communicated every day at first. even if you just leave a short note, it still means you are alive. We need to hear from you today, ASAP. Also, I need to communicate with you because I leave town on Sunday and will have limited communication until I get to Geneva.
dad
camera hey Brett,
haven't heard from you for a while. what's going on? My suggestion for the camera is: buy the over the counter, cheap ones and let me bring mom's camera with me and trade with you and bring yours back.
i never really thought much about travelling to Paris til you left and I checked out all your plans Sat. morning....then, I wanted to be there with you. I'm following your travels in Paris reading about Aquinas philosophy done while at the University in Paris. Say hello to him for me.......
Oh yeah, Grandma and Brett, we went to the doctor today and learned the baby's name will be William Paul Malone and not Eva Sophia Malone as dad and I had hoped :) Congratulate Grandpa earning a namesake!! Love to all.....
great pictures great pictures. how about a picture of your hostel? and maybe what your room looks like? do you have a travel companion yet? it is 10 degrees, sunshine, and 2 inches of icey stuff on the ground.
dad
Thanks for the pictures! Oh Brett, so good to hear your thoughts and see your face. You sounded rested and must also be clean :-) It is hard to think of you seeing those wonderful things as we sit here in Kansas. Travel is quite amazing. I am glad your life journey includes these special times. Blessings to you today and God's protection. Love, Mom
