Wild I figured it would be a wild trip but this is incredible. I'm counting on you to hold your drinking own with the Irishmen and Aussies, you're representing the USA, now!

Im a slacker Hey Bodil...sorry it took me so long to respond, its been a whirlwind the last month or so. I have always wanted to do the "expat" thing and South East Asia is an excellent place to see the world for not a lot of money, so here I am.... Thanks for following the blog!!
Hello anonymous I enjoyed KL. It is an interesting city, however, it is still fairly new on the world stage, so I would have to agree with the reviewers, I dont think it has quite caught up to HK and Bangkok in terms of character.
So proud of you Hey bro, i am so very proud of you for following your dreams and just getting out there and living your life. You are such a great role model for my children. It has been so much fun for us to read what you have written. We can't wait to see what adventure you find next. (They of coure get the G rated version) Enjoy every moment! We love you.
humidity Humidity becomes a touchstone. When you're away from it for a while and then return - stepping out into it brings a rush of all the past great times and then a flood of the endless possibilies to come.
Great writing!! Enjoy the ride.
It doesn't happen often but when the KL area gets a great 1- or 2-hour afternoon downpour, the rest of the day would feel pleasant. One of the most popular night spots in KL is the Jalan Alor/Changkat Bukit Bintang area. Alor has a whole lot of street foods and CBB has restaurants frequented by expats and tourists.
Some folks who have covered SE Asia say that KL doesn't have the character that other SE Asian cities have. What do you think?
your all grows up, your grows up and grows up. the devil in me wants to write about your college but the season is long so...well baby cal is crying so i'm off
Awesome Awesome pictures and even better blog. I love that you're just diving right in to the culture, head first. Can't wait to hear more...
I wonder if the humitdity there is anything like it is in DC. I imagine it could even be worse. For your sake, I hope the humid season is nearing its end. Enjoy!
Adios Amigo! Mike, I'm filled with mixed emotions. I am so excited for you because you will soon be exploring a new continent and many different culture, but I have no idea when I will see my best friend again. I will be reading this blog not only to learn what you are doing but in hopes to get a sneak peak of your creative writings. Since your work week is only 24 hours you have little excuse to not allow your blank page to enduge your drippy pen. (Wow! That sounds pretty disgusting... drippy pen.) Oh, I'd hate to read that you had a night of drunken stuper which lead to you waking up under the sheets with a ladyboy, so keep your eyes peeled. You must do John Grey's Sea Canoe in Phuket.
Stay Strong.

Right on! Jeez, I so jealous! Once you step into your new surroundings, I am curious to see how your point of view goes from seeing chaos and randomness, to seeing order and familiarity.
