The rest of your trip sounded amazing. You must be at home all settled in now. Our trip feels like a lifetime ago! Glad you had a great time though - where is next?!
The End What a great experience alright, amazed you did so much in such a short time. Travel safe and the car poolers are keen to come out and catch up with you :)
That would be so great Hi Nyree, That will be so awesome...I can certainly share some funny stories that didn't ge printed. O will love to hear them I am sure!! LOL
We must do it sooner rather than later.
The HAT Hi Lynnie, love the hat.......would love to see you actually wear it when you get home - perhaps on the beach at Castlepoint ??? I am LOVING your blog - I open it as soon as it arrives. Thanks heaps for sharing it with me... xxxxxxx
The hat Hi Gin, We could have some fun wearing them I reckon. Yes. I expect it would be great to catch up on my trip south....we will keep in touch on it and I will let you know when I head off eh!!!
With all this experience you sound so competent and relaxed about settling into any new group - compared to the beginning of your travels. I think you have found your zen.
Beautiful photos lynnie. Such lovely places you are visiting. By strange coincidence a couple of days after I read all about Cambodia and all the torture that went on there, there was a T.V. program on where the brother of the N.Z er tortured in cambodia went back and retraced his brothers steps and talked to the very people who were doing the torturing.!!! A very emotional documentary. Anyway, take care, thinking of you, lots of love, Robyn McleanXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
w Now wot advice was that? O advice? we all know that it is important to keep yr pants on unlss there is a call of nature! i think that impotant to take them off then lol
winter Why would you come back its still winter!! Stay untill spring at least. Sounds like you are having a great time so keep on doing it as long as possible, then when you get back you can come vist us.
xx
hi Great blog Lynnie! As usual you are having a great time . Life is back to normal here and Charlotte has finally got better. It has been over 2 weeks. We have Murrays son, wife and 2 yr old staying now. Its been busy with different ones coming to stay. We call it the Taupo Motel but it is free of charge. Looking forward to seeing you again in Aug. LoveRobyn Mclean XXXXXXXXXX
You sound very busy with your respective families...how lucky you are. I am so glad for Tony and Angela especially and for all of you that Charlotte is okay again....how scary.
Yes I will be back in no time now and will get down to visit you eh!! I hope there is room in the hotel!!!! LOL
So soon???? Hey I didn't realize you were only gone for a short time. I thought you had gone for a few months. The car pool wants to know if there is a reason for only being gone a short time :)
Tell Darra how sorry I am that such a terrible thing happened in her home town. Ask her if she has ever been to Chautauqua in Boulder where we stayed last year where my neice lives. I want to live in a Chautauqua, if only we could build one in NZ such a wonderful concept.
Continue to relive things you are doing with our trip to Vietnam - lovely warm feelings about the country.
Enjoy Halong Bay.
Chautauqua is lovely with great hiking trails says Darra. She really appreciated your kind thoughts Jen. It has been a stressful time waiting to find out if she knew any of them.
Yes! Halong Bay was great especially the caves but there was a lot of boat traffic there. Still kayaking and swimming good. More in the blog eh!! Glad you can relive/revisit it. Memories are so important.
WE WANT TO COME BACK!! sounds like you are having an amazing time and good on you for staying out there longer. We are both well, back to work - back to reality =( We have found a new flat- move in next week and we are currently arguing over what sofa, what TV, what wardrobe, what colour towels.... its great fun! Lots of love x
Hi Everyone or should I say the lucky few who will be able to access my travelling blog.
Yes I had a flash of "something"; madness most probably, and decided to retire. I think it had a lot to do with my hip actually as it is getting worse and so it is travel now or never it seems.
The school took it on the chin and after finding someone to replace me that of course was less capable and less efficient than myself, I found myself fully into planning my amazing intrepid journeys through Asia. I read somewhere that one needs to live like it is your last day and to learn like you will n... full info
