Riviera Maya Beaches Akumal There are two beaches in Akumal, one located in half moon bay and the other (the best one) at Akumal Bay in the center of town. Akumal also has 3 more beaches referred as Akumal beaches: Aventuras Akumal, South Akumal and Jade Beach. Central Akumal You can get there by taking the Akumal exit on the highway, there are shops, restaurants and places to stay. North Akumal To get there exit from the highway but left at the arch and follow the winding road toward Yal-ku Lagoon. This is a popular location for snorkeling.
