Wow!! So cool that you got to volunteer for the IronMan competition! And your pics are gorgeous! I have to admit, I'm quite jealous right now. It is snowing and -10 here in Calgary. Enjoy the sun and keep the blogs coming! Can't wait to see New Zealand :)
So, next time... Hello Leigh-Ann
Oh my goodness, I can see it now...a letter to the Board,.. another year to become an Ironman! Glad you're having such a great time. Wish I was with you, on the beach reading. Take care.
Cate
Great read and wonderful pictures Not at all boring Leigh-Ann. I enjoyed every minute. You are keeping very busy, and you will have a lot of interesting tales to tell when you come home as well as amazing pictures. Keep up the good work.
We miss you!!
I'm exhausted just reading about it all...what an experience! I hope other people like you are highlighting the accomplishments of those who "just missed the mark"...
AWESOME IronMan footage always inspires me. I can't even imagine how incredible it would be in person. LOVED the update and have bookmarked you now so I will feel in the loop. Hope the flight to NZ goes well today.
Christy (:
Sounds pretty great so far!!! Hey Sis-try not to think of the homesickness in this way(this is what I do): Just focus on what you're doing in the moments and get excited about things you're going to see that you've been waiting for-all the while knowing that home will ALWAYS be there-and won't it be better to come home with great stories and memories?! Plus, you're there now(wherever you happen to be at the moment) so you may as well find out what is so cool about that area! You're doing awesome-enjoy every moment!
Love,
Stacey
Cate: all that rain and still you sound up! Hi Leigh-Ann, we miss you.
Your writing sounds just like you, enjoying the moments and filling every one of them. You even make NS look good! - just kidding, you know I love it here too.
Can't wait to read the next exciting installment.
Much love, Cate
makes for better stories You know I love rain for the simple reason that it makes for better stories! What a wicked adventure already. I am so envious. Sounds like your binocs might be getting some good action.
No surf yet?
I got up early Sunday morning and went for a walk by myself because that's what you would have convinced me to do (it was beautiful out). I think I'm going to try and make it a weekly ritual- if you can hike black sand beaches and volcanoes, I can brave the power pole trail in Clayton Park (oh the beauty of Clayton Park!)
Thinking of you lots. Miss ya!
Glad to hear you are doing well! We do miss you tremendously! I love reading about your adventure, such great descriptions, it's as if I'm there. Take care and write and post pictures, when you can, I'll be looking forward to it!
sounds amazing! Hey - we're definitely missing you...your name comes up at least once a day. But your trip so far sounds amazing - can't wait to see the pictures! Although with those gorgeous NS photos from your first entry, I'm not sure why you wanted to travel in the first place! Have you broken out the ukulele, yet?
Stay safe - watch out for lava flows (and rogue waves). hj
Hawii Hey Leigh-Ann! I'm not sure when you're going to get this message but how's Hawii? I'm sure it's amazing.. Heather J made us do this project in class, you had to put what you thought your future would be, you had to write a realistic one and an Ideal one. (My Ideal one was impossible) But one thing they both had as traveling. (Traveling the World)
Also we all got school e-mail addresses, they are FIRST NAME.LAST NAME @ halifaxindependentschool.ns.ca
I'm not saying e-mail all of us indevidually but it's a good idea to use as a subscribing e-mail adress. Anyway, let me know how it's going.
