Hello all, It's been quite a while since my last post. Always feels like forever, but that's what happens when you post bi-weekly instead of weekly I suppose. Anyhow, let me catch you up on what's been going on since I last blogged. I left off at Fredonia, where I got sick again for the second time this semester. That started off as just a cold and became the "acute tonsilitis and bronchitis" that I have been dealing with since, and only now am I getting over it really. From there I went to East Stroudsburg, the last of the chapters that I visited for a second time this semester. I don't have any pictures of it in the blog for two reasons: first, I took only a handful last semester, and second, it's not the ... read more

Hello everyone, I hope this finds everyone doing well and loving life. We've had some awesome weather lately, and I was fortunate to catch some of it all over New York these past couple weeks! I believe last time I left off at UMass in Amherst, MA. I hate a great time up there reconnecting with those guys. The funny thing about visiting a chapter back to back semesters is that you actually get to see what progress they do or do not make; but you also get a chance the second time around to be a little bit more casual with the guys. People like consultants, they think we're cool and all-knowing. They want to hang out with us, ask us about our chapters (which they think must be perfect) and basically see if they ... read more

Hello everyone, I've been to a lot of schools since my last post: Syracuse (again), Cortland, Penn State, Hamilton (again), Cal U, and now I'm here at Umass (again). I have some photos from my travels as of late up on Facebook, and as always a couple here too. Rather than go super in depth about everything, I'm going to tell you a few quick updates on each school: Syracuse hasn't changed much at all, and it was the first of several schools I have/am visiting this semester for a second time. It was strange how well I actually knew my way around the town still, being that I stayed in the same hotel as last time (nicer room though, king sized bed. Score!). The front door of their house was broken this time, so each ... read more

Dear followers, Hello again. It's been a long time since my last post. Actually...I feel like I say that when I start all my posts...let's start this over: Dear followers, Greetings from Ithaca, New York. My brothers ought to recognize this city. It's where Cornell University is located, the birthplace of The Delta Chi Fraternity on October 13, 1890. But we'll get to that in a bit. Last time I blogged I was in Charlotte, NC working on an expansion. It went really well from a technical perspective, but I don't want to bore you all with the details of how we constantly made cold calls to undergraduates, updated a names list, presented to sororities and student organizations and all that boring stuff. I'm sure you would all rather hear about me doing fun things...you know, ... read more

Hello all, It has been over two months since my last blog. Sorry if I've kept any of you waiting (or, I suppose, sorry to all of you who were like "Oh thank God he stopped bugging me with all those emails"). Hopefully there are very few of your in the latter camp. And also I apologize but I do not have any pictures really worth posting in this blog, but I promise I will have a couple for the next one. Side note: my coworkers, watching me write this blog, are jealous that I haven't ever given them a shout out in my blog...so this one is for you, Jeff Melando (even though I gave you a shout out months ago) and this one is for you Dan Thompson, AKA my second boss...happy now? :) ... read more

Hello again, Well the semester is winding down and I'm on the first of my last 4 visit of the fall...can you believe it? It still feels like the tail end of summer to me, even though it snowed cats and dogs when I was at Rutgers. I feel like I haven't updated this in a while...so I'll give you the run down of highlights from my last few visits. Rutgers is a really big school. Wasn't too thrilled to have to be back in New Jersey again (sorry if any of you are fans of that place) but at least this trip to New Jersey went a whole lot better than my first at Montclair! The chapter at Rutgers had apparently gone through a rough patch in the recent past, though I was pleasantly surprised ... read more

Aloha, Greetings from Hawaii...oh how I wish. I'm back in crummy old New Jersey, where the only thing that's good is that gas is $3.13 and they still pump it for you. It's the like gas stations are a time capsule of the past in multiple ways...I'm still not used to handing my card to a pump attendant and just waiting while he fills my tank...makes me feel lazy, but it's kinda neat at the same time. Well, as you can see from the title and pictures I've covered some ground since I last wrote. I was at Umass last time I wrote (or maybe I had made it to URI...I don't remember). Regardless, URI was a pretty bland visit and very little remarkable happened there...though I did stay at a Holiday Inn and they have ... read more

Shalom, I'm here in North Kingstown visiting with the Chapter at the University of Rhode Island. As you read in my last post I was just in Amherst, Massachusetts visiting with the colony there. That was a pretty enjoyable visit all things considered, and definitely another group that I would have liked to visit as an undergraduate. Most of the visit was pretty routine and unremarkable (aside from an absolutely vicious ABT meeting I sat in on that kind of left a sour taste in my mouth...but that's a whole other story best explained in person). A couple interesting things happened to me though. In reverse order, at the ABT meeting a couple older alumni who were part of the original chapter at UMass came to meet their new associate members, who were in attendance. As ... read more

Yo, So I don't know about you guys, but I feel like I haven't updated this in a really long time...eleven days to be exact. I honestly don't know where the time goes, despite the fact that I usually have plenty of downtime in the evening to unwind. The days just all sort of mesh into one big blur I suppose. Well since my last blog I've visited three more chapters: Syracuse, USM Gorham State and Bryant. Syracuse is a gorgeous campus. It is nestled in an urban part of the city, and is actually quite similar to Pitt in many ways (even has an on campus medical center). As you can see in the pictures the architecture is beautiful at this school. The chapter here is on the smaller side. They have a house, but ... read more

Oh haaaaaayyy! Hello again everyone! I am currently writing this blog from Syracuse, New York. It's been a little over a week since my last blog. Sorry if any of you have been waiting long. I try to do it at least every week, but sometimes writing reports and having meetings just sucks the fun out of me. Oh well, I suppose I have to do them though; it's only my job. Well as you can see I've been through New York quite a bit now, starting my tour of Delta Chi's Region VII (essentially everything from New Jersey through Maine, excluding Pennsylvania.) I went from Penn State at Behrend, on to Hobart and then to Hamilton, and now I am currently at Syracuse before I head to Gorham State in the south of Maine. With ... read more
