It's only been 7 days, yet I'm carrying on like one of those people who live in jungles for years and then turn up asking if the Nazis won. We've basically been living in a desert for the past week, where the people live in actual mud hut style houses and there are very few facilities. Suddenly we're in Windhoek, the capital of Namibia and the fact they have actual buildings made from concrete (with windows and doors), cars, traffic lights, internet cafes and a KFC makes me feel slightly dizzy. I can barely contain myself - as soon as I'm logged off from here, I'm going for an iced latte. Seriously, certain tribes of Africans would benefit from Starbucks. (I'm only half joking.)
