Wow I only saw a shark from a glass bottom boat and that was close enough for me. Did you see any Gazelle's? They are the fastest animal on four legs. We are enjoying your blogs.

Great White Sharks Finally, Beth and Justin understand what it's like to "Swim with the Sharks". I can't think of anything more dangerous other than getting married and having kids - LOL

I love the pics!!! Hey guys! I absolutely love the pics, and am completely jealous of you guys. Unfortunately I only see 7 pics, but can't wait to see the rest. I know exactly what you mean about the toilets too, frustrating, isn't it? Same thing about the store times.....weird?!? Enjoy your trip guys, and remember.....don't run out of $ cuz I'm coming to meet you in New Zealand!!!
Ya, Right Those Europeans idea of an easy ride and our are very different :) When in the Netherlands, I went on an "easy afternoon ride" with my then 65 year old host mother. We rode 52 miles along the ocean, half the time bucking the wind. It took about three days before I was walking normally again without a sore butt. These are the best experiences though. The Swiss Alps had to be some of the most bautfiul area of Europe, truely breath-taking. Sounds like life is good :)
Beautiful!! Hi Beth and Justin,
That was an amazing description of Switzerland, damn, it really makes me want to go travelling all over again. It seems like Europe’s soaking into Justin’s bones with all the heavy reading and Beethoven symphonies, brilliant. A young German teenager came and sat beside us on the train from Munich to Füssen and I noticed he was reading the very heavy philosophies of Friedrich Nietzche, it must be something in the water. BTW Justin, I play a mean game of chess, it’s a pity that board hadn’t been in the hostel we stayed at. Glad your addicted Beth, it’s a class game.
Your descriptions are very poetic, I really could picture myself there, you should keep all your entries and put them in a book with all your photos when you guys get home. Then publish it and get everyone you know to come to book signings :)
Can’t wait to read your next entry, Here are some words from Nietzche to inspire you on your travels: “Be serious cheerfully and possess a wisdom full of roguishness that constitutes the finest state of the human soul.”
I hope the budgets holding out OK, Switzerland really is one of the most expensive places in the world, glad you guys got out with some money left in your pockets (and I hope those Big Macs came served on a candlelit table with a bloke playing a violin in the corner.) Myself and Carmen are trying to replenish the funds to travel to LA in November. Write soon.
NOT IN GRANDFORKS ANYMORE HEY BETH AND JUSTIN-THOUGHT THE LEANING TOWER OF PISA WAS YOUR BIKES LEANING UP AGAINST YOUR HIPS WHEN YOU WERE WALKING NOT RIDING THE HILLS DURING YOUR 7.5 HR. HIKE. GETTING IN SHAPE ARE YA? I CAN JUST PICTURE THE LANDSCAPE THROUGH YOUR GLORIUS DESCRIPTIONS AND COMMENTS. KEEP ON TRUCKIN' AND WRITTING-LOVE THE SORIES. GOOD LUCK AND SENDING HUGS AND KISSES...MOMMMMMMY
Told ya I told you that switz was friggin expensive! It is really beautiful though, I'm glad you are making use of the free entertainment, Hiking!

Hello Cows with bells, just like you see in the movies. Did you meet any Heidi's? We've had a cooling in the weather and some rain yesterday and today. All is well with us. Glad to hear you're doing great on your adventure.
Cheater Beth just to forwarn you Justin cheats at Chess. He makes up his own rules! Beware! Switzerland sounds pretty. I can't wait to see pictures. I'll be sending you some soon :)
