Geysers
Nice to see the old geezer next to the geyser! How many different ways can you find to spell Maori? Keep up the good work as we are really enjoying watching your progress through Kiwiland.

Catching up
Wow, really exciting stuff. Glad to hear you had some rain, its all we've been getting since you left. Gran says I've got moles in the garden, any suggestions for humane mole removal? Oh and Mole came to visit with baby Isobel. Peta says the sculptures look phenomenal, have checked out the website and chosen my sculpture for you to get me for my 40th! Lucy says have to limit myself to looking at the blog cos its in danger of making me book a ticket to join you!

Taupo
Hi guys Rotorua is fab but make sure you have a good shower if you jump in a spring as it stinks!!! If you get the chance make sure you stop at Lake Taupo and have a go at the deep lake trout fishing, they cook the fresh fish you catch on the back of the boat which you snack on while downing your sundowner catching the sunset up on the deck. Magic. Enjoy

Hello you lucky pair, I think I'd better stop looking at this blog, it's making me suffer from the very deadly sin of jealousy! Looks like you're having a wonderful time, enjoying the heat!!! Just a shame I don't seem to be able to upload all of the pics. Big kiss from the 4 of us

Te Arai Beach
How lovely! Really wish I was there..... We've been keeping your regular seats warm for you this weekend - we took visitors to Franzls on Friday evening - had a really good dinner, and sat watching the snow through the window - and then we went to SPS on Sunday afternoon with Geoff, Tony's youngest son. It was excellent, and congratulations to Dinah for her Best SPS entry award! I thought it was the best photo in the whole exhibition before I realised who had taken it, so totally unbiased view. Hope you continue to have a great trip, the blog is brilliant!

Good time being had
So glad you are having a great time but do you think you could at least take a picture of it raining or looking cloudy on just one day so we don't feel quite so jealous!

Upside down
NZ doesn't look half bad considering it is the wrong way up. Keep Dad under control or none of the rest of the Jayes family will ever be allowed into the country!

China
The road sign reminds me of Tom stating when he was little that he was glad he hadn't been born China because he couldn't understand Chinese. Good to see the historic first blog post from foreign soil. Keep 'em coming.

Well done
A good first blog post and I can't wait to see your progress around the southern hemisphere as it happens. The rocket photo has set a high standard so we want more of that calibre. Looking forward to seeing the Hawaiian shirt and beach shorts in action!
