Just like me Hi friends- Jarod- I always take the left-overs for later. In fact I usually carry ziplock bags with me on trips. I am the thrifty tourist! Anyway I wish you all a great week. How is the xerox machine there?
Olympic Museum Great picture of the children. I'm following all your blogs with interest and almost feeling as though I am experiencing your travels with you and the family. Thanks - keep them coming!
God in the heart Jarod- When I think of you I think of someone who has God in his heart. I love your blog. This entry made me smile and remember the times when my children were little.. You are a very special man. Someday I want to have coffee with your Mom- I want to tell her what a wonderful son she has!
May God Bless you and Avril and he kids-Debbie B.
you can do it Jarod, my prayers are with you as you begin with your students tomorrow! We have our first STAFF day tomorrow at Muriel Martin and I am also both nervous and excited to begin. What lucky students, to have you this year - hope all goes well. :)
Good Luck as you start a new class! Jarod, you will be great! Denis showed me a photo of his class. I am sure these sweet kids will follow you around like little chicks. Make sure you show them your hockey goalie talents. That will impress them. Hi to your lovely family.
Like Father Like Son Jarod- your son sounds just as adorable as you! I hope you asked the little girl's family for their phone number so the kids can play again. Good luck at your new school. I know the kids will
really enjoy your sense of humour. Hi to your family!
still enjoying your posts Hi Jarod - just wanted to let you know that you continue to be in my thoughts and prayers as you all prepare to settle in to your new home and as you prepare to start school. I am also beginning my own new beginning at MY new school, and your "drinking from a firehose" comment made me laugh - it sure does feel like that for me these days! How does the copier work? Who do I ask for this or that? Where are the staplers?......the list goes on and on - I am definitely the new kid at school. It's nerve-wracking, but exciting, all at the same time.
Keep writing - I was telling Thom the other day that I love reading your blog because it sounds just like you.
Blessings,
Amy
Enjoy Jarod and Family Hi friends! I hope you get to Italy. I had a great time there. If you get a chance try Croatia too. Jarod, I love your humour and writing style. I feel I am talking to you when I read about the adventures. I will miss our chats at the Xerox machine this year! Have fun! I am praying for your good fortune!
Do you want me to pull a gift for you at the Christmas exchange? I have good luck picking unique gifts! Debbie
Love your blog-Feel like I am there with you Hi friends- I am enjoying your humour and description! Jarod, you should be a travel guide or travel writer. Have fun and be happy.
I had a great time in Italy-but it was very hot when I was there. Try to go there. You should also try to get to Istanbul.
I will miss you at the xerox machine!

You are making lots of great memories.. even the flat tires...

No hairy eyeballs today... an improvement :-) Despite the whoopsies, it sounds like you had a grand day :-) The view from your place is priceless, you are exploring an amazing country, and you have a beautiful family... what more could you ask for?? Enjoy every minute (even the small set-backs and hairy eyeballs)!!
I can't believe Avery let you bring your hockey equipment. That is awesome! When I saw your bag in the picture I just assumed it was filled with clothes.
funny Jarod, you write the way you speak....I think they call that a writer's "voice"? :)
Try to avoid the hairy eyeball when possible, and ignore it when not - they are going to learn to LOVE you guys over there....in time.
