Good morning, friends! Last night I crammed over 50 pairs of eyeglasses, 24 notepads, 300 index cards, 48 pens, about 200 pages of training materials, some Kagan materials, 6 feet of chalkboard cloth, which I had never heard of until Fred Dearing from South Sudan wrote about it, and other supplies I cannot remember into a suitcase. It was about a pound over the 50 pound limit, so I had to remove the sets of dominoes. Then another suitcase for clothes and misc. this morning we (James and I) arrived at the airport and I groaned when the first suitcase weighed in at just over 40 pounds--I could have brought those dominoes (great for math games) and more stuff I left behind, next time we'll bring it all, get it weighed, and remove as needed.
