Oh my trip to uruguay was amzing i dont even know where to start. we left on thursday from buenos aires, took a 1hour ferrry to colonia, i very old colonial town, super cute. we stayed here for only a couple hours, we wanted to get to our final destiniation of small beach town Cabo Polonio, Cabo Loconio by the time we left, by nightfall. I had the best weekend ever!!!! I love this city and the people i meet here more than ever! On friday night we had a party at the hostel i stayed at for 3 nights. I am still close friends with everyone that works there, so i hang out there often. We had a bbq, listened to motown and classic rock. Then around 1am we started jammin!! Noah was on guitar, paul on another guitar, anders on bass(all acoustic), we on my friends djembe, and oscar on the harmonica! Everything is going swell and dandy doo!!! classes are going good, ive already taught 3 1 hour classes in english to nonnative enghlish speakers, at all different levels, beginer to intermediate. all the students(all adults 20+) seem to love me and my enthusiasm and teeaching style. they alwasy ask if i will teach them again but usually we just do each level class once. we still get to talk in english before and after classes so its nice too! just this morning it fully hit me about the poverty in the city.
