sorry! oh my goodness lindsay and jack, we are so sorry it has taken us so long to get on here! It sounds like you are having an amazing time! glad to hear you are finding your way and meeting new people! jason says he hopes that the new zealanders aren't giving you too much crap about your whiteness. He aslo says if things get tough and you need help feel free to use your life line and phone a friend, not sure what we could do, but we'd figure something out, he's in touch with some pigmis that are part of the austrailian mafia that are ready to rock at your becking call. as for us minnesotans we pass day by day waiting for your most recent comment. mmm, not sure if that made sense, i was just typing as he was talking! haha! ok, anyway, glad you guys are having fun! talk to you soon!
love ya, amber and jason
ping pong when daniel gets tired of beating jack maybe i'll have to come over and whup him up a little. how do you pronounce the name of the town you are working in?
anyway, the anderson ranch all sends it's best regards. blake's grad party was yesterday then we all went to the "hill" to race the karts. blake and lance were both in the front row for the feature and then it rained out. would have been interesting!! all the food from the party that was left went into the menard trailer in crockpots. i think there was a good 30 people hanging in their trailer after the races. everyone wants to know how you are doing . i told them about the website but you know...they're from wisconsin. have a good week. john
oh my gosh your mom had me read it to her outloud and I freaked and called for JIm. Of course, he reads the next line before I can register the shock of the guns and we all had a good laugh....hope you never scare us again. i am too old and Uncle Jim is older.
love you both
Good Times Hey you to, sounds like everything is working out well with your jobs and things. Looks like a cool place to work. I like the building and the bug Tui sign. Have fun in Auckland. If you get the chance you should go to Ponsonby Rd. Thants where we worked and there are some cool shops and restaraunts there. Oh yeah and The Cavalier Pub (68 College Hill Rd in Ponsonby) has good burgers and sweet potato fries, check it out if you want. Talk to you later.
YOU! Hey Lindsay!!!! Wow I feel like it's been a decade since I've seen you and you've done a billion things in so little time :) Rach, Teen Teen, and I just returned from a little 5 day adventure in Ely in a sweet bunkhouse. (Erik and Caleb went too)
Very belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY. You're 20! I'm next!
If you have any flatmates that are anything like me you will be blessed :) JK but seriously...haha
LOVE YA!
hi Jack!
Day 14 Time is flying uh? So do you think that before day 30 we could actually hear from Jack himself? I wonder what comment he would write at the end from Lindsay?
Enjoy Auckland! Send some more pics!
Love, M
AWESOME Lindsay and Jack....I have been reading your blog after Connie mom told me about it!!! How absolutely awesome you get to do this....Like everyone else, I was "shocked" by the gun comment and can hear you laughing and saying "I'm kidding"....well guess? We ARE MOVING TO Minneapolis...so by the time you are back, I will be there! HAVE FUN and GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS during this trip.
It was so much fun to read of your latest adventure! You two are leading charmed lives! Sounds like it couldn't have turned out more perfectly. Am making a book of your blogs, and at this rate will probably wear out the printer by the time you get back. Love you and miss you already!
nice That was an awesome story, all except the gun part. When I read it to the rest of the family, I made sure to pause there for a second. Dad is still recovering.
Love, M
You Sounds like a fun opportunity -- NO MORE GUN COMMENTS -- Mom paused as she was reading that to me and I had a heart attack! haha! It is hard to imaging. It has been a full year since Jack popped the big question! WOW.
As for the lamb, maybe you can start a new company;
Bubba Gump Lamb. You can have it grilled, broiled...
Have a great weekend.
Love you two - Dad
The black bag A funny black bag story of our own...we got a similar gift at our wedding, however, when we were moving lets just say that someone who was helping us moved that bag before I could get to it...I think for that person who accidentally opened it felt a LITTLE akward (as did we!)...so, always be careful about WHO you let move that bag! And that's all I will say:) Hope you are having fun, wow, I am tired just reading your emails! Is the food really good? It looked like you had toast and spaghetti one night-it got me wondering about what type of stuff they serve in NZ....the closest reference I have would be Outback:) ALSO, we have some amazing friends living in Auckland out there, they are traveling the world and doing missions stuff with the program YWAM...two are from Duluth you'd really like them! So, if you are ever looking for a place to stay in the Auckland area I may be able to connect you with them-it could be nice to meet a bunch of people your age from all over the world that are using a world travel pass (where you can go like 14 places or something). The place they are it is BEAUTIFUL!
linds: you got the golf course right but the town is lawrence. if you see him again ask him how many times he's parred #6. if he says "lots" watch your money! didn't know i missed your birthday. dinner on me when you get back. talk to you all later. love ya, john
Hello from Bogota Linds...your mother was so careful of you!! I see that you know how to wash dishes............did Deborah teach you (I know Connie didn't!)????? I am so glad the time share what y'all needed.
Take care..........and one day you can explain to me what happened in the wide open!
