Thursday 5th of February was a day to remember, for being wonderful and dreadful! Lex and Sam were in hospital getting ready to welcome my 3rd grandchild into the world, which was wonderfully exciting for me, although Sam was having a very long, hard labour. Naturally the most important thing to me was keeping in touch with Lex. So when my mobile phone was disconnected mid morning, I was beside myself. All my numbers were in that phone and I had them nowhere else. I felt totally cut off from the most important people in my life. Yes, over the top I know, but this was a very emotional time. Hi everyone, Well this is the start of Something Big, as the song goes. I am now beginning to feel that this is really going to happen and I am filled with a mixture of excitment like never before and apprehension. As I have been packing all my belonging into the shed at the bottom of the garden (Lex says that I would be a killer Tetras player) I am asking myself what I will have experienced and how may I have changed when I again see these personal belonging.
