Right address Thank you dear Jill, the postage is high though, so check first!Kindy ones too, as I am working with the nursery class at the moment. You are a treasure - still!
Jackie dog No Jackie, not named after you, even though it would have been a great idea with your dear old dog with the same name as my son! It seems that Jackie is a very common name for a dog here, a bit like Rover I guess. I didn't name him by the way.
Cute dog I hope this poor little puppy isn't named after me!!? But I can understand if it was seeing as my dog was called Toby??? What a good Samaratan you are. You sound like you need lots of disinfectant as well as books!! Cheers Jackie XXX
Rupert The only problem is, that "Indiarupert" is the bossiest puppy I have ever known. Although in India you need to be the top dog to survive. Like you, I thought it was a nice thought and made me feel a little more accepting over the loss of my little puppy.
Still having a ball here - come on over!!!!
Sis.
A new Rupert ! How nice to have another Rupert in India, he looks beautiful too!
Hardiwar looks terrific, just how I remember India, wish I could be with you. Cheers, John
Tour of India It's great to see your travel blog when I cruise through the Web on a Sunday morning. Adelaide feels very pedestrian by comparison. Jackie and I have decided to drive to Melbourne next weekend for Easter. It will be good to get out of Adelaide and the recent events of the Fringe and the Clipsal 500. We are both looking forward to Bali in May for sister Wendie's 60th Birthday or will it be a wedding? I think I will take a white sun hat just in case!
We had a spot and I mean a spot of rain this morning but the southern part of Australia is still parched.
I hope you are able to view Facebook as we have put up a few pictures of recent events, grandchildren and similar.
David and Relika are thinking of coming back to Australia later in the year and they are both collecting paperwork to get Relika a long term Visa to stay in Australia. Our Skype network is great as we can speak and visual them both living in luxury in France.
Keep up the good work and enjoy the culture of the people.
Cheers Nick
Serendipity indeed! There's no doubt about you Beverley - you always seem to be in the right place at the right time. That's a story for the memoirs - bet you're glad you've got the photos!
Simple gifts It is very humbling to realise how much difference a simple piece of clothing makes to these children - they must be so proud of what they look like. Please let me know if you need money for anything else. I'd be more than happy to get some to you.
Binay What a wonderful thing you have done for this little boy, Beverley. You must feel so rewarded. And what a smile! No wonder you connected with him. Cheers Pauline
Help for your school children Dear Beverley,
Your school is simply amazing for all the wrong reasons! But the children seem captivating & I just loved your story on your 'triumph' with Binlay. Yes, you truly can make a difference!
The facilities there seem so basic & clearly the children have nothing or next to nothing, so I presume the materials available for you & them to work with must also be at best limited & at worst next to non-existent?
I've just placed $100 into your bank account, as I'd like to make a little contribution for the purpose of buying materials for the children to use in class books, exercise books, pencils, pens, crayons, texta's, rulers, paint (not for the walls!) you know the sort of thing I mean! A new blackboard even English reading books or whatever you think they need the most?
I know this is only a small token, but I'm sure that where you are, $100 buys a lot of pencils, exercise books & crayons!
Best wishes,
Ian
Fantastic photos Loved this blog Beverley. The zoo animals look great - content and well fed. Loved the little tea shop, brought back memories. Even the hospital looked colourful, but like you I wouldn't like to be anything other than a visitor. Keep it up. Jackie xxxx
Binay This was sooo touching Beverley. Im showing my own boys these blogs so that they can appreciate just how lucky they are here. Must be hard for you to not become too attached to the lovely people you have helped and met.
Please keep us posted on Binay's progress.
Keep up the good work !!
Ciao Janet
Wonderful photos Beverley these photos are fantastic. What an amazing place. I will have to read up on it. It looks fascinating and the children are cute. The classroom looks better than I was expecting. I don't know about the cold though. Good job you took your thermals.
Take care and God bless

Photos Hi Beverley
Great photographs of you and the family. Happy Birthday for the 28th, sorry I missed it. Claire's friend had a lunch for her baby shower yesterday and it was nice to see Claire out on a leave pass from the hopsital. She is now walking with sticks and using the wheelchair but making good progress. Going home next weekend so maybe catch up with the girls. Hope all is going well with you. Take care Luv Sandy
