jealous
I want to run around those ruins and find wee herptiles. Not fair. Hedgerows suddenly seem a lot less glamorous.

Um?
Crest toothpaste flower? A reference to the color? Or something more? (Does it smell like toothpaste? I can't decide if that would be kinda cool, or completely revolting...) xo Amy

pee does work, as well as time, so i think the antihistamines and pain medication just worked because enough time had passed. but something more acidic like vinegar works best to denature the stinging proteins. if you encounter stingrays, the best remedy is to hold the injured part under the hottest water the person can stand (which is easier if it's a foot, most likely with stingrays, the problem with jellies is that you're most likely stung around the arms and neck because you're swimming making it difficult to keep under hot water.

Hey you! Just wanted you to know that I'm reading and thoroughly enjoying your travel stories. Glad you sent the link, and we'll miss you at Thursday dinners for the next few weeks. (But we have your fridge art to keep us company...) Hope your headache subsided quickly. xo Amy

Enjoy travel blogging!
Hi, You will be so glad you setup a travel blog. I set up mine a few months ago, Travellingstarfish dot com - check it out, and love the way it helps me express myself on my travels. I'd be really interested to hear more about your experiences in Dominica. Enjoy Miriam
