Amazing!!!
Thank you so much for this post! I dream about going to the Galapagos Island for years! I decided to make my dream come true and go there next summer, after volunteering in an environmental quest in Ecuador for 3 weeks with United Planet (http://www.unitedplanet.org/environmental-ecuador-volunteer/). I already have some contacts with their country coordinator and they help me to organise my trip but I would also like to have your advices. What do you advice me to do to have the best time possible?

Hikes.
You have some great pics there. I am from Scotland and there are some beautiful hikes here. I did the West Highland Way which is 95 miles long. Leaving the city of Glasgow all the way into the countryside passing Loch Lomond, which I live near, then into the mountains till you finish at Fort William. If you get the chance, you need to do it. I work in upstate NY in the summer and there are some great hikes there too. I work near Lake George, its a place that is steeped in history and seems to be overlooked by tourists except american but they are all mainly from the city of NY. So if your looking for more then the Lake George area is stunning. Safe travels.
