Sunsets What no sunrises? Doesn't surprise me. Sounds like all in all Costa Rica was enjoyed by all two of you. Can't wait to see you both and your fabulous tans.
My blog Are you guys still abroad? So unsure of your location. Just got back from south of the border, my blog (for those who know who I am) "got tan, drank margaritas, home now, pile on desk to tackle tomorrow"

Youse guys make an awesome team!!keep enjoying--we're back home in the cold and snow--why oh why do we live like this--had a fabulous trip and will " discuss" when you return. Have a safe flight and remember to take good care of each other. that's what it's all about!we love you!xoxo can't wait to see you.
We want Gregg! Elise...now you are my dear friend...but I want Gregg back! That was about 30 seconds of reading time...! I've gotten used to at least a full minute of the misadventures of LC and Double G.
glad gregg is feeling better. if elise is becoming a "jaffe girl" then it sounds as if gregg is going the other way (stomach aches, etc.). sounds as if the country is really beautiful and that you are still having a great and interesting time. thanks for the call on my birthday---
we are in ventura, calif., and the weather is sunny and medium warm. i am about an 8.0 on the red-0-meter, as i didn't realize the strength of the sun yesterday and did not put on block!!! terrie is thus far a -1. i have figured out how to make vacations last long. GO TO FLEA MARKETS AND SWAP MEETS!!
love you guys!!
Guess Which One I don't think there's anything wrong with switching rooms to ensure a comfortable night of sleep (and a L shape couch w/hammock overlooking the ocean)!
Love the blogs, keep 'em coming.
tummy ache hi! hope you are feeling much better, Eat carefully for a while--rice, ripe bananas,toast--no butter--no grease no vegis etc.Pepto is good too if you have it.we're in L.A. enjoying great clean american food and planning our next years of life. Good beds too! Love u guys.xoxo
It's ironic that Gregg is halfway to Wesley Snipes and Typhoid Mary all at the same time! I know his unique perspective as a past daycamp bus driver is giving him a greater understanding of the entire genre of state-of-the-art thirld world transportation as it were. I guess with the 5.5 reading on the brown-o-meter, he is kind of like Ralph Cramden (Cedric the Entertainer version)
gregg stomach Did you hear of imodium? Start with two and then take one. You must have caught a bug and stop eating so much. Only blttled water! And for sure no beans in your nose. Glad Elise and Elvis have something in common besides their singing. Enjoy and love to you both.
Glad to hear you made it to San Pedro! You missed a very long, alternately rainy and breathtaking drive to Orosi, which involved Brian helping a group of Ticos un-fuse and push to the side of the road two cars that had smashed into each other. Looking forward to hearing about the Pacific coast. Pura vida!
Brian and Alissa
sulking??? we were so surprised to learn that l.c. sulked when you missed the bus. She must have been worn out because she is usually so resiliant when "shit happens".Loved the blog--hopefully the rest of the trip will bring sunny skies and beautiful memories. love you guys!! xoxo
The joy of your blog!! I wait with barely concealed excitement to read your blog!!It sounds like your adventure is fabulous and we're so glad it's turning out that way. Mazel Tov on your recent romance with D.C.
Keep on having an excellent adventure! We love you! xoxo
Brown-o-Meter I expect Geraldo to attain at least a 6 on the Brown-o-Meter after the beach segment of the trip. That way, we won't be mistaken for Mexican brothers for awhile.
Keep being safe and having fun.

Harvey´s error this is just to Clarif that Elise DID go on the canopy tour and did all of the zip lines (quite masterfully, i might add) she just skipped out on the tarzan bungee rope portion... thanks and keep on reading.

Jealous Hey Guys,
This all sounds so cool. It's making me remember my time there and loving the memories, even though you haven't been to Manuel Antonio yet. But some of the sights are the same. I enjoy your blog. Elise, I can't believe you didn't do the canopy tour. You'll get another chance so do it. You're not gonna die.
By the way, we got Macy's!
wonderful the trip sounds great and i love the commentary (esp any comments relating to glencoe's doll house store) i can't wait to read more about it! miss you both!!!!
how fun and entertaining!! I love reading your blog. It may be my new daily entertainment!!Can't wait to see pix except the ones that are too beautiful to take.Keep the words coming. Have fun and be safe and take good care of each other. How are the sock people? Are they having fun?! xoxo
Venue Hey Elise, maybe you could research any venues in the Costa Rican jungle where we could host Asbury? Somewhere with full AV capabilities would be great, with a capacity of at least 400 people.

We started this blog to track our adventures in Costa Rica in the winter of 2006. Now its onto our honeymoon in Thailand, Cambodia and Hong Kong.
