Granddaughters Your granddaughters are beautiful. I bet they enjoyed your visit. We hope to catch up with you while you are on the coast. I like the 'slumming it at Gundagai' photo. What a lovely place to relax.
Wow 12months. Keep blogging please. I love reading the blog and seeing the pics. After looking at your fuel costs etc, will have to keep working for a long time yet!! I need to save up lots of petrol money :) x
Thanks Sue. A few friends have said the fuel was a surprise to them. Keep in mind it was only that much because you have to do a lot of big kilometres in the Territory and the Kimberly to get anywhere.
I love this area At Renmark we watched a paddle steamer go through one of the lochs on the Murray. We also went to a fabulous lookout tower which had great views of the red cliffs along the Murray. One of my favourite photos was taken there. It was part way along the road to Murtho and Customs House. Worth a look, if you are nearby. Enjoy. X
Thanks Sue. We will definitely check it out. We are heading to Mildura today for 4 or so days and I believe there is a place just south of there called Red Cliffs. It may be the same place.
Lovely photos the ones of the mines look interesting and I love the Bunda Cliffs photo. The colour of the water in the 'Head of the Bight' photo is such a beautiful blue. The Palace Hotel looks interesting too. Thanks for blogging.
Thanks for the comments Sue Yes. Some of the colours and places we visited are spectacular. The Palace has particular meaning for us as we stayed in the Penthouse apartment for a night while in Kalgoorlie as it was a fair distance to tow the van just for a day or so.
Amazing Loving the photos, especially Pemberton, it looks lovely there., and looks interesting. Another to add too bucket list!
Keep them coming! Cheers :)
Another fantastic blog Thankyou. Wave Rock looks great and I love the pictures of Hellfire Bay and Lucky Bay. The view of the Bay from Esperence is a great pic. Enjoy
Thanks again. Yes. The views are fantastic, even though we have to wait for breaks in the weather at the moment to get the shots. Today is looking much better though and we are heading for Norseman and Kalgoorlie.
Wow Photos are fabulous!! I remember seeing the gnomes on tele last week. ? On Better Homes. I love the Tuart forest, the wild flowers and emus and the caves and Bunbury. The long jetty looks interesting too. I must take a walk on that. Enjoy. X
Wow!!! Hey nice to see you got an underwater camera, and the results are certainly spectacular! It broought back lovely memories, of when my husband and I went snorkelling on the Big Island in Hawaii a few years ago. We were lucky enough to see a huge Manta Ray when we went on a night tour. It swam right above us and was feeding on plankton. It was an amazing experience and they are such graceful creatures. Nice work saving the Thorny Devil too, I am sure he appreciated it too. You are certainly coming across your share of wild life. Keep those amazing images coming. Loved the desert sunset shot! Happy and safe travels
Three and a half years ago we decided to become Life Style Changers (LSC's / Retired ) and intend to spend as much time as possible travelling and visiting as many places we can across our vast and beautiful country plus as much of the world as possible.
To assist us in this quest, we have taken up "house sitting" and caring for other peoples pets and have enjoyed this so much we intend to continue with this as long as our health allows.
Given it may be some time before we can meet up with many of our wonderful friends, we have created this blog so that we can keep you all up to date on ... full info
