The name is Bond..... Gordon Bond Am starting to get more than a little envious..! Lovely photos again (of 007 and his girl!) You'd better have made arrangements for my kangaroo as there is absolutely no sign of a camel from Oman and Trevor has been back for more than a week. Maybe they have to go through quarantine?
Lots of love

Fridge Magnets Fridge magnets are the devils work Doors. Ive binned the ones you had and your fridge is now a magnet free zone. Just watched Jenson win the world championship in a bar in Cape Town.
Er... hello Lovely photos again and you
e obviously having a wonderful time. Shame about the chilly economic climate Jennifer. Don bother buying me a Peoples Friend as I can get that at the Anstruther Co-op (if I should so wish). Must go as I can hear girlish screams (not from Pete but from Sophie and Jenna who are staying the weekend) I think theres nothing amiss. Girlish screams are normal it would seem - in fact, mandatory, if playing outside. We
e all going to see "Up" at the cinema in St Andrews tomorrow as its a highly rated animated cartoon. (Just up Petes street). Keep enjoying yourselves.
Lots of love
Yer Auntie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Saturday Well - lovely to hear your latest travel news. Here's mine. I went to Perth today and visited every charity shop and bought 3 jerseys and 2 long skirts for £18.55. One of the jerseys was 100% cashmere. Are you jealous, Jennifer? Oh... you aren't....!
Lots of love
Auntie S xx
Blue Mountains We loved the Blue Mountains and the boys loved the very steep train - I screamed the whole way! Did you go across the gorge on the scary cable car - again more cowardice from me when it got a bit windy and it started to sway!
The Muppet Show That's the way to go to Australia - in stages! 14 hours sounds a lot more bearable than 24! The hours must have flown past while you were immersed in your films, Gordon! What did YOU find to pass the time,
Jennifer? Loved the photos and very impressed with the arty ones. So you ditched your warm clothes in South America, Gordon? That's a pity. Still, that'll leave a bit more room in your luggage for Jennifer's purchases should she run out of space. Trevor is in Oman at the moment and has promised to bring me back a camel so could you bring me back a kangaroo? Lots of love, Auntie S xx
Sydney Hi there, so jealous to see you in Sydney. We were there for 10 days in July 2005 and stayed with friends. Had coldish but beautiful weather and no sandstorms - you are so lucky! The boys swam in Manly Beach - I kept a lookout for sharks! We also went to the Blue Mountains and went to the Seven Sisters site and then onto Hunter Valley for some wine tasting and kangaroo spotting!
Hi, unfortunately we didnt have time to travel round Argentina, we were only in Buenos Aires. I've heard from other people that the buses in Argentina are superb though, especially the night buses.
comment and question Sounded great, thanks for some tips, Leaving with friend end of October. Did you have any experience with the Super Cama Buses and did you book through travel agent or on your own???
Hello again! You should get into the Guinness Book of Records, Jennifer. Most number of shops visited in shortest time! On the other hand, Victoria Beckham's record will probably never be broken.
What lovely photos. I spontaneously laughed out loud at the last one Gordon! Glad to see you've got a better guide with you than the last one!
Lots of love
Auntie Ess'n'Pete xx
P.S. Ess is my new emailing name when corresponding with my counselling friends
No more hats G and J
Looks like you are having an amazing time. Glad to see that Jen is back on top form after her brief illness. There is nothing worse than being away from home and feeling dodgy. All your photos look fab and they bring a little bit of colour and fun into mmy study at night and take my mind off boring marking.
Life here good and all is well.
Take care
Jan
GREETINGS Alright Troops
Just heard from your bro that you had a blog so here I am checking on your travels. Hope you are both having a ball. My wedding went well and so far so good still married!!!!! Will keep in touch now.
Is South America any different from Darvel???
Dear Jennifer
My sympathies are with you. There's nothing worse than a tummy upset especially when you're travelling and in different strange places. Your shower was reminiscent of a shower in a cheap hotel in Athens that Pete and I booked into when he visited me for 5 days when I was out there working. It had bare wires and wasn't as white as yours. The chambermaid tried to keep the place clean but she couldn't do much about the wotsits (another memory blank). You know - they jump and can... Oh wait a minute - FLEAS! I inadvertently took one home with me on the plane. I do hope you're completely better now.
Lots of love xx
P.S. The frog could be seen as a bonus
More great photos - I love the wotsits - you know the titles you give the photos (degeneration of vital brain cells).
I do hope you're sleeping and eating normally again and getting proper "guidance" from the dodgy guide. It's all VERY exciting and if all these "blips" didn't happen you wouldn't be able to look forward to looking back on them! Jennifer - from the distance that the orphanage photos was taken you look very like a picture I have of Valerie sitting with Sean when he was about 2.
Lots of love xxxx
P.S. Gordon - something keeps coming up - there's an issue with Jennifer and shops, isn't there?
jaguar telephone box I absolutely love this one! So cool....
My sister has been in Brazil these past few weeks and spent a couple of weeks in the Matto Grosso being surprised by phone boxes in the shapes of storks, parrots etc, and one sad jaguar that had been deprived of its telephone - Jen's jaguar has surely been fierce enough to keep a hold of his phone.
I really enjoying your blog (bog and non-bog related!) keep up the good work,
Laura x x x
I Hear the Village People R Recruiting Love the overalls but I think I can hear the village people calling !!!!! Altogether now "It's fun to stay at the YMCA, it's .........." Love the pictures, really cheered me up after having to sample school dinners today at Alexander's school - what an experience that was!!!!! Probably close to what Jen had that made her poorly is all i will say
Gets more and more "interesting"! First of all, thanks for the lovely postcard. Pete laughed at Jennifer's comment about Canadians competing. I love Gordon's comments about Jennifer "always" shopping! Get used to it, Gordon! I'm so glad that the (1st) host family were reassured that you were moving because of your knees, Jennifer. I was nearly in tears myself! (Love the public comment from your pal Stevie G!!!) I can imagine your wifie saying to HER guide - "Please, you must to move us. It is with too much flowery here!" I also LOVE the foty of youse two in yer national costumes. Very sweet and attractive but with a hint of these TV game shows where participants get hauled off the stage and have costumes flung on them at high speed.
Lastly I wasn't too keen on the "bus on the barge" idea! Glad you're safe!
Look forward to the next instalment.. Modern technology CAN be awesome!
Lots of love

Lucky Escape! Uncomfortable Silence??!! Now that poor family know how the lads feel when we’re out for a pint with Doors trying to strike up conversation (a raised eyebrow would suffice if we could see them) !! But we’re gonna buy you a banter phrase book when you get back Sorted! Anyway I’m surprised you guys have been fooled by Roland’s cheeky laugh and his “friendly” manner. It’s obvious to me that the guys in the masks are abducting members of the group (where did they all go again?) torturing them and thereafter using body parts such as skin and teeth for their Manequin business. With all that complaining Jen has done since arrival you guys were lucky not to become the prettiest dolls in Peru!
