Of course it was chicken! That's all Americans eat apparently... oh and hamburgers. "This is good soup." "Oh does it taste like a cheeseburger?" ?! haha.
Crazy busy Well, it sure sounds like you have been going non-stop since you arrived there. Despite the headache and over exhaustion it seems you are enjoying your first week in Italy. They seem like nice people and I am glad you are settling right in with them and the school. Your blogs make us laugh each night...you are a goofball. I think it rocks that Paolo is so into music and you have a common love of Classic US rock. Please be sure to get enough sleep so that you don't run yourself down too much and get sick. We miss you!
"molto interresante" sigh. i shouldn't be suprised that you brought up math. but... the moment i read "molto interresante" at the end of the paragraph, i yawned. :D oh the irony...
Enjoying they blog Stan, I am enjoying your blog and vicariously enjoying Italy again. It was my favorite place I ever went when I was in the Navy. Good people, great food, fantastic country. Be sure to get some gelato (dupo!). Best wishes.

Good Call Good call Andrew. I forgot about a lot of the ancient houses of Eaton. I guess Benjamin Eaton's house would be a lot older than most of the other places in the town
oldest building in eaton well i thought the school was one of the oldest building in eaton. but what about the history museum next to the post office? i would think that would be older then the school. and my house is older then the school (most of it anyway)
Glad you made it! Just checked your blog for Kim. She said to tell you "Glad you made it with no problems and didn't need the "puke bag". I just signed up for your blog so will follow your trip. Love and miss you, Grandma B
HAVE FUN! This is going to be entertaining to look over while you are gone. Make sure to show them all what Wyoming/Colorado is all about, yeah boiiii! Except maybe not in public, you might be judged. Find your sisters some cute Italian boys! Just kidding... maybe? :)
Gift 2 ...and peanut butter fudge from Laura's fudge shop was a HUGE hit. There is now a Laura's in Fort Collins so you don't need to go all the way to Estes Park to get it.
It's OK if you don't know Italian Brett managed to navigate Italia perfectly by speaking Spanish and listening carefully when people spoke Italian back to him. I think it's all about the mas despacio! Enjoy Italy. It remains one of my all-time favorite places.
