Today, the theater hosts a well-known international opera festival, Chorégies d'Orange. Many famous opera singers have performed here. The Triumphal Arch of Orange is believed to date back to the time of Augustus or Tiberius, although some say it dates much later, perhaps to Severan. The theater and the arch are listed as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. [View Full Entry]

What else could I start my travel blogging experience with if not with my favorite place in Europe? Despite Monaco being such a tiny country, it has it all. This European "dwarf" boasts of long history, sophisticated architecture, stunningly beautiful nature, lovely weather, and cultural life. Believe it or not, it even has a zoo and several gorgeous gardens, including the Princess Grace Rose Garden and a seaside Japanese Garden, both definitely worth a visit. And, of course, the Monte Carlo casino. [View Full Entry]
