Today started hot and sunny. We were moving on to Letaba camp futher north but first we drove south on gravel roads, very slowly looking for sightings. Waterholes are usually good places. Soon saw elephant, zebras, impala and baboons. We watched elephants spraying themselves with water and mud. The wzter levels are very low at present and lots of the rivers are dry due to long drought. Much of the park is dried up and looks like armageddon in places. Next we moved on to where someone had spotted lions and saw 2 lionesses lying under a tree. Got back to Satara about 12 and then went on to Lataba. Very hot and dusty. Went for a swim, Simon found he has not brought his swimming togs, unbelievable. Early night ready for another day.
