That hot chocolate sounds AMAZING!!! Have you all not sampled any local liquors? Or do they have any??? And then you posted about alcohol at KFC and that sounds AWESOME!!! Your trip is half over and I am just now getting to catch up on your blogs. I hate that I didn't get to tell Kamie "bye" and wish him safe travels. He was gone before I realized it!

Monkey astronaut lights up at night

It's only there until the end of October. ‘Sam’ is a sculpture from the series ‘First Crew’ by Denis Prasolov. The sculpture is dedicated to the many animals used by the Soviet Union in space exploration during the 1950s-1960s, including the 42 animal piloted rockets launched by the Soviet Union during this time. Needless to say, most did not survive the experience.

That's hilarious that you looked that up because our LOCAL tour guide literally said "We don't even know why that statue is here!" LOL

That dinner sounds AMAZING! I hate to tell on Kamie but he doesn't smoke much at work anymore. I quit a year ago. When you quit you want everyone around you to feel that success too. Plus it's bad on your veins KAMIE!!! BUT you have to WANT it for YOURSELF or it doesn't work. I too hope he gets to that spot for himself. Loved all the pics!

31 hours??? You poor poor souls! I was close to that once and a deliriously emotional mess! The House is HILARIOUS! Maybe try The Big Sick on the way home and let me know. I hear it's good. 8 hours of solitaire is a bit much Kamie... and then HOLY SHIT GUYS! That is crazy!!! #firstandlasttriptoeustonia!!! WTH?

Can't believe you didn't try the McD Jalapeno sandwich!?! Or get a Chicago deep dish. Food would be my priority at every stop! :) Big planes scare me... seem to be more tempting to dangerous folks, but Kamie did seem to be excited about it. Hope you had a pleasant flight!

:(
This reminds me of the Holocaust museum in DC that Matt and I went to. Its overwhelming to hear the stories and see the pictures of so much sadness and pain and reflect on the fact that humans are capable of so much evil. While also seeing how resilient those held captive were. It is definitely an eye-opening experience. Glad you got to go!
