Before I started my journey to Southeast Asia I had read some comments about Myanmar from other travellers and one or two of them wrote that the highlight of their trip was Inle Lake. It took me much too long to finally set my feet on Burmese soil. Myanmar has been on top of my travel list for many many years, but for some reason, I always ended up skipping Myanmar while travelling in Southeast Asia.
