brawls onboard! no surprise you are driving men wild once again. you seem to attract attention from these sorts don't you!i think the captain should have made him walk the plank with an extra weightbelt on while throwing bits of raw meat into the sea!
Jealous Getting well jealous now the weather here is well s**t (Notice the fantastic use of the english language there). Third weekend in a row that i've been drowned on my way home from liverpool. Am enjoying the read so keep the travel boast up
Wow lucky you..... Hello Love, wow, looks fantasic, what a life your having. I am very jealous. Hope you were not sick on the boat, not like someone we won't mention in Turkey....Rain, rain and more rain here. Floods are very bad in places.Yorkshirebeen hit very badly. Your Dad has decided to get some sand bags just as a precaution. Pam has come to stay at Grandmas for a fortnight. We went to the Queens Friday me Pam and your Dad to see Mick the Cat, he was very good. Had quite a few scoops and nursed a very bad hangover next day!!! Well keep the blogs coming the "old buggers " really look forward to them. Love you loads Linda xx
your having a great time Hello Catherine, Once again thanks for all your news and pictures. You certainly are having a great adventure. I think that you are really brave dealing with all that wildlfe and the native creatures as well! All those big spiders. Stay away from funnel web spiders though. Take care and keep em coming

Raining here too I bet you felt right at home sharing a hostel with an 80 year old.
Just like being at home eh with the old buggers??????
Anyway, it's good to hear you are having fun, making friends and experiencing new things.Corornation Street has gone rubbish again and Big Brother has started but it's tedious. Oh and Tony Blair's gone and Gordon Brown's taken over.
But the most important news from England is was in the Daily Mail last week.................. Goblin Teasmades are officially trendy again so your Dad thinks he is some sort of fashion guru now.
Take care.
I want to see a wild guinea pig, too! Airlie Beach sounds really good fun, hope you had a great time - I bet you will come accross that poor deaf 80 year old Golden Girl dancing on tables in a bikini or something!
That beach on Port Douglas looks so beautiful, just what I imagine beaches in Oz to look like, all you need now is some sun! Saying that, i'd rather be getting rained on in gorgeous Oz than here in Liverpool.
All the animal pics are great, how brave are you, holding a SPIDER???!!!!! I cant see a spider without my survival instinct kicking in, and squishing it with the Yellow Pages. The croc looks surprisingly cute, though (maybe cos its mouth is taped shut) and i'd LOVE to see a wild Guinea Pig!
Take care, carry on having fun, and GO, TEAM HONEY!!!!!!!!!!

Hitchcocks "The Birds" come to mind Very brave, no very, very brave. The snake wouldn't have bothered me nor the baby croc, but those birds ugh sends shivers down my spine. The photos are great. Seems like you are having a ball, meeting lots of new friends as I said you would, it looks fantastic, the toad racing looked good fun. Lets hope the weather changes soon. It is not very good here, rain rain and more rain. Missing you, it's very quite no fighting for the talking stick, your Dad is impressed by the washing basket. Wow! The pictures of the great barrier reef are absolutely amazing. I can't believe how big that fish was that your swimming right by. I'm not surprised your glad you didn't see the shark while you were down there, that really would have been terrifying! That must be one of the most fantastic experiences you could ever have. Can't wait to hear what you do next.
Lots of Love Jennie

Wow! Hi Catherine, I'm hoping this comment will go through as my others haven't! Looks like you're having a brilliant time and have made some nice friends.....bit fishy some of 'em though! Great pics! I think you're sooooo brave doing the scuba diving, I'd be terrified, but it looks great. Talking about new friends......what's this about strange men getting into your bed...and hitting someone with a flying lock padlock! lol Anyway, I'm really looking forward to getting your next update. Keep having fun! Luv Jacqui xx
Wow! Those scuba pics are amazing and it sounds like you are having fun and some wonderful experiences - good for you! Im really enjoying reading the updates, have had a bit of trouble posting comments but hopefully this one will go through!
Good to hear you are in a small, clean, secure hostel - all that about some random man climbing in your bed in the small hours was a bit worrying!!!
Hope you and your new found friends carry on having fun, and I look forward to an update from magnetic Island (that sounds wierd - what is it?!)

I bet it's not as nice as Wallasey Glad to hear you are having fun. It sounds like you are having a ball. The mini heatwave here has ended and we are back to rainy cloudy days. Went out for tea on your dads birthday with Jen, Michael and Grandma Birch, it was a great night. The old fella was a bit embarrassed with his birthday cake, but not as embarrassed as reaching the age of 57!!!. We will email you the pics we took on the night.
PS from Darren - Did you get any pictures of the wet t-shirt contest you went to? Take care and we await your next update from the next point of interest. xx
