Glad to see ypu both looking well. Did you see any irish dancing!!!!!!
Gerard does know a pub owner in the heart of Dublin. He wasn't joking.
Love Mum D
dubliners we pulled into a stoney field and pitched our tent, three of us travelling in a mini. Saw that the nearby pub had the dubliners there. They ran in with their music and played all night. Hence I am a fan and have one of their records. Glad you liked the book of Kells. Love Mum M
Ahh ... England Try again! Hey, guys - sounds like a Blanche and Drew adventure - that mintcake does sound a bit weird! Hope all is well with you and you resolved your Finaland problems. Take care lin ;)
a magical life Hey gorgeous people. Love reading your exploits and adventures...thinking of you guys heaps. I reckon that you should send these snapshots of life to lonely planet and you'd get a job writing up places, events, etc in an heartbeat. Take care...stay safe...and keep trying to drink great wine. Love, us!!
Hello Sounds like you are having a wonderful time, I am extremely envious. I am trying every avenue to contact you (with help from Tania and Catherine's mum) hope this one gets through.
wow to think I went past Wimbledon station in the train and never went to a match - how stupid was I. Sounds great. Wait until winter and see if the queues are outside the butcher shops in the snow and hail, just to get that winter turkey - but then that was 1970 and they probably are under cover now. Love Mum M.
U2 As you know they are right up there with me, I can still remenber you coming home from Apollo Stadium that night. 102 F.M. often play them in the morning when I am on my way to work and I reckon I do them proud joining in!!!We all thought of you going to the concert and I for one am green with envy What a collection of hits all in one night. Dont forget if youdo run into Bono , do a Noeline and get his autograph. Love you both .
I am sooo jealous U2!!!! and you got there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Arghghghghg - I would nearly die to experience that!!!! I can imagine the euphoria of such an experience but then again can I? Surely it is one of those things you have to experience to truly know it! Sorry this is my first comment. This is the first travelblog I have seen! Don't know if its the uni server details or something else but obviously someone out there made sure I didn't miss the U2 description. Now I am in I can go back thru all your other journals. So I'll get onto that. Take care and can't wait for more. Thanks for a great story!
U2 I too was at Apollo - scary Andy, you might have been near a mental U2 fan. Also took my boys when about 12 and 10 to see them at Aami Stadium. They are the best band out!!!
i lived there once Well, guess what I lived in one of those white pristine Notting Hill Gate houses and enjoyed all the eateries around there at the end of my time in London. A page in the Advertiser today on 10 years of Rugby with a picture of Bec and Zoie in a scrum and Kim features too.
great blog There is a saying in Scotland that if there is enough blue in the sky to patch your trousers it will be a fine day. The run and the weekend sound fantastic and we loved the pictures. I am living off my story of climbing Dutchmans Stern. It certainly gives me a buzz even if I did it very very slowly. Love from us both.
What a life!!! Well, the whole idea of making the most of what this life provides is definitely being proven by the both of you. thanks for sharing your fantastic memories. look after each other!!! Love Trace and Stephen (we'll have a glass of red for both of you!!!) XXX
oh yes East London is full of little suprises! You just have to look for them! Sounds superb, all that delicious food.
Have fun and keep up the tales - missing you both
We thought a six-month trip around the world in 2001 would cure our travel bug, but alas it only made it worse! So many more places to see and things to do. So we are leaving the sunny skies of Australia for a stint living and working in London. When the time comes we will make the journey home travelling overland from Casablanca to Kathmandu (visiting as many places as possible in between) and a few months volunteer work in Nepal.... full info

I'm bloody jealous
I recognise so many of those spots in Dublin. Heavy Sigh with Nostalgia.
