I was right there with you I loved reading your blog. My Neice Dana went with you and I was quite jealous of her experience. My heart goes out to the orphans, yet I find them truly lucky to have people like you and Dana etc. coming to make their corner of the world just a little bit better. God bless you all. Love Aunt Diane
:D Oh Care your writing always puts a huge smile on my face or a tear in my lil eye. Both this time!! You're too amazing. Seriously. Miss you!!!!!
Lots-o-love!
Mina My husband was at Beacon House from April 6th through the 10th. Were you there at all during that time? He brought over crayons for Mina to draw a picture for us. He said she was drawing all over everything when he was there, too. I LOVE your stories!!!! Thank you SO much for going to beacon house and loving on those precious kids!! I would love a picture of you and Mina together for her life book. I want pictures of people that loved on her before she came home. Give her lots of hugs and kisses!!!! Blessings to you!! Angela
You brought tears to my eyes Mina is my daughter!! My husband James and I are adopting Mina. We are in the final stages of the process. Waiting for her passport. She will live with us in Oklahoma. She has a big sister who is almost 4 (adopted from China) and a big brother who is 6. We hope to bring her home end of May/beginning of June. She is an AMAZING girl!! It didn't take long for you to see that. I was able to meet her in October and my husband just returned from Beacon House 2 weeks ago. I am working on a website for Mina (who will be named Abree). I was looking for the full story of how Romana started Beacon House and when I googled "Beacon House Ghana Africa Romana" this came up. I would love to keep you updated on our sweet Mina. I will let you know her website address when we get it all up and ready. Wow, this blog of yours blessed my day!!! I hope that your trip to Beacon House opened your heart to the amazing miracle of adoption. There is such a huge need out there as you have seen first hand. Blessings to you! Thanks for loving on my sweet daughter!!!!! Angela
EVE???!?! That is absolutely insane. Just completely insane.
Love you and see you in a month!!!!! (sorry to remind you, but you do have to leave eventually!)
