We have been in Singapore now for two nights....it's great, but a little overwhelming with all the hustle and bustle of a big city. We stayed the last two nights at a place called the New 7th Storey Hotel, which is not new, it's like 53 years old or something...it was a decent room, although a little on the pricey side and there was something wrong with the pipes in the bathroom so everytime someone flushed it made this aweful siren type noise that would go on for what seemed like forever (at least when it was in the middle of the night!). We spent the first couple days walking around Little India, Chinatown, the business district (very fancy and modern), and sampling all of the delicious food choices.
