After an amazing lie-in which took up most of the morning, I groomed Polly some more and chatted to Simon on Skype (with the cat, Katie, sat on my keyboard). After some fresh corn on the cob for lunch, David's piano teacher and her family came over. Olga and Sasha moved from Russia in 1991 and weren't even allowed to bring piano music with them. They have a daughter, Arena, who now works in DC but was home for a holiday, and a son Carey who did a masters in engineering at Oxford Brookes and lives abour 5mins from my flat next year. He works for Renault designing Formula 1 race cars, which I think must be one of the flashiest jobs around. We all took the Evans' yacht out into the York River to enjoy
